Having looked into this for some time now, GameSir seems to be best (relatively affordable) option. I’m ordering one now for my iPhone. Up until now I’ve been playing a number of games on my phone with touchscreen controls like WWE 2K22, Star Wars Squadrons, Dirt 5 and loving it (I even posted a few vids) but it’s time to give a good controller a go.

I got burned last time, maybe a "fine print" for me, though when something says it's Android compatible, you'd figure most any Android device would work. Tablets and phones I tried, were not taking to any input, maybe I had bought an actual defective controller (I thought saving a few bucks on Used - Like New would be okay...) .... I want to try one of these things, but with Android, or some game things come out that are iOS and Apple exclusive, it's hard to balance since there's a lot in the $40-60 range, then jump to $175

I just bought this over the new Razr controller. I have the Gamesir X2, with the D pad, I had to reconfigure to Xbox buttons. I also have 2 of the Razr controllers as well when they were the official Xbox controller. I loved it, but hated the way it would pop off during game play. I never had that problem with my Gamesir. I love the width of the Gamesir, my phone (Galaxy S21) almost completely fills the space & doesn't pop off with intense playing. I can also play my GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas from Google play with this remote. I love it & will be using it over my Razr!

Thank you for playing a little Ninja Gaiden. The d-pad has to be so specific for that game. I guess all games do. But specific climbing doesn't work with all d-pads. And of course there's crouch jumping with Super Mario Bros.

You can remove the rubber stop on the USB-C side to be able to use the controller with a case. Just cut along the join at the corner and peel it off. I have a pretty thicc case (Spigen Tough Armor) and it works great.

I got the gamesir bluetooth x2 bluetooth. Works perfectly. Feels great and almost no lag

Get a Bluetooth version and an OTG cable, mount it vertically and connect the cable to the tablet , otherwise get an Xbox gamepad or similar and use the same method

What they improved over normal X2: Dpad (unless you got late model) analog triggers replaceable buttons back buttons that are programmable switched usb c to the right side

it kills my fingers to hold for long sessions that require the right analog stick. The palm rests are so short it makes it hard to access the triggers while holding the game pad up. My phone is heavy, S23 Ultra. Plus the right stick is kinda in the way of the XYAB buttons. I think if I could get some type of extended grips I would like holding more.

I noticed your comment was 5 months ago so it may be a bit late haha but look up the “Gamesir G8 Galilleo” It’s one of these but it has more of an actual controller look and feel. I a lot more comfortable than this.

Looks like you can't put your phone vertical because the USB-c port is sticking out and you can't put it vertical like a Nintendo DS. This controller looks cool but missed the mark a bit.

Help: it connects to redmi note 8, but it does not work, the LED light flashes for a few seconds and then turns off, in the application appears "X2 PRO PD DFU Version: 0.0" any idea what it could be?

I got the razer kushi. Sigh not capable with cod moble. Is this one capable. I hear the app offers overlays. I may exchange if it does. i hope it doesn't need that dumb root thing to get overlays. That was so dumb last time i did it. bricked one phone from that.

I purchased my first one which was the Nintendo version of the game sir but the only problem is is Xbox did not recognize it and as well as Google stadia which now Google stadia has posted on the internet that anyone who was on it though going to be refunded their money back because it's no longer available at a certain time period

Beware !!! I found a couple of things I really don't like. 1.- The X and A buttons are too close to the right stick, if you have big hands your constantly clashing with it. 2.- The back buttons are mappable to the face buttons, it would have been much better that they were buttons on their own. (Maybe a firmware could fix this). 3.- This might be my own units fault but if I press a button long enough (like accelerating), the button sometimes sticks to my finger and gets pulled out (maybe it's just a weak magnet).

Yep the A33 will be good with it. That phone fits and has USB C so you are good.

If you leave the X2 Pro connected, it drains the battery like crazy. 25-30% overnight. There are multiple reports of this behaviour online but none of the youtube reviews meintion it. Has anyone found a way to address this issue? Or is there a way to put the x2 pro on standby, while connected to the phone?

Is there a fix? I plan to purchase gaming phone and permanently plug this to the phone. Instead of buying those Anbernics.
