There’s a difference between the two. Even though Omniman has killed way more people than homelander, he did it for the empire he was raised in for a thousand years. And saw the error of his ways. Really depends on how Homelander chooses to fight. Very lazy or very angry will immediately spam lasers HARD. Peacemaker needs a cocky Homelander that is actually interested enough in Peacemaker to screw around with him. The less invested Homelander is in the fight the more likely he just tries to win fast and lazy with beam spam

@@IronFerret62 I don't doubt that he has the capacity to kill Homelander. I just think it will depend on how Homelander approaches. Peacemaker range game is kinda weak compared to Homelander, and Homelander has shown how frequently he uses lasers for anything and everything. The only times he doesn't spam them are when he wants to Taunt, enjoy killing with his hands, or wants to scream at person in anger.

I like how Homelander sounds here. It's not a 1:1 to the delivery in the show, but I don't think it's supposed to be. Homelander just found himself in a world of hyperviolence where there's no reason for him to put on the all-American boy-scout facade (mostly because no one in the MK universe buys it.) This is like, full mirror Homelander, him at his 100% worst. It's a cool take on the character that we might only see for a bit in the show.

Considering everyone's durability in the MK universe and the fact that they canonically all somewhat have the capability of fighting literal gods since every MK11 tower timeline is canon. That's kinda what I thought too at first, but if you think about it, he's found a whole ass realm that has knows nothing about him or what he thinks are abilities that make him special. Even more so than on Earth, he's going to do everything in his ability to manipulate/kill his way through to gain this godlike status he so desperately wants. Not to mention bro was literally born in a lab and beat by other bigger supes until he was an adult; the arrested development is real. Like one of the other characters said, he'd be pitiful if he weren't so evil.

Undeestandable but remember he's a crossover character here. And given his ego, he's basically an excited psychotic child who is so happy he can break loose and murder everyone. Which is true to his real inner self in the series, and he's expressing it fully in this new world he found where no one will be alive to cancel him for being himself. He no longer needs to act like a superman with humanity.
