Mystic... Casuals... Valor... Instinct. Long ago, the four teams lived together primarily hating dirty casuals. Then everything changed when the Valor idiots attacked. Only Instinct and Mystic, masters of all of the forums, could stop them. But when the world needed them most, they vanished. A few bugged patches passed and the filthy casuals discovered a new wave of Mystic/Instinct teams on forums. And although their Valor suppressing skills are great, they still have a lot to learn before they're ready to save anyone from team Valor. But we must believe they can save the world. every bird has a means to win against the other birds except moltres vs zapdos. Zapdos can just lightning anyone and moltres can burn articuno. But articuno can activate quick claw and use sheer cold to kill ANY pokemon without taking damage (with some luck). and yes I REALLY pissed some friends of mine of with some hax luck like this ;D

I can see what you're saying. Since Zapdos is Electric type, it is super effective against both birds. And Zapdos is already Electric so if someone tries to kill it with lightning, it will be neutralized(Electric is ineffective against Electric, and Electric>Flying)

I chose Instinct because I knew I'd be alone. Everyone in my town is/was Valor or Mystic, but I wanted to show that alone, I could be stronger with them. I wanted to show them that I could beat them, with no allies.

I'm in team Instinct too, because it's all about improvising, and trusting your instincts. I'm an optimistic person who always thinks that everything will be alright if you just don't worry about it. The second reason why I chose team Instinct is that I really like the color yellow, and my favourite pokemon type is electric. I mean, my favourite pokemons is Raikou, Pikachu, and Zapdos. We may be a small team, but we're a strong one, and we're just not enough people to prove it.

I have a J personality type but I chose Instinct, not because it was the least popular, but because its values spoke to me the most. The values of Mystic and Valor are not really things I care about, but I'm attached to Instinct because it has the most wholesome values.

with the "Team" reference, it seems to me that Niantic and Pokemon Company wanted to include this concept, like how aqua and magma competed. But if so, I'm certain the reason why we dont HAVE team rocket and the others, and the team system we do have, is because the developers didn't want to encourage people to take "team rocket" so seriously or at least have people use that as an excuse for criminal activity. XD but i love the idea that we're a bunch of introverted terrorists nerdily and harmlessly competing in gang wars. this i can get behind.

Each team could also tie in with the birds and the elements they represent, like fire definitely fits the fundamentals or valor, ice fits mystic well, and electric would fit instinct the most. I am pretty sure the birds were no accident with the types they represented and he could already say the same exact things for why people favor each bird type, making it redundant.

This is really interesting. I remember when picking I was actively trying to avoid picking due to color and outside influences, but I knew I wasn't sure how I actually fit into any of the teams, so I decided if I wanted to work on myself, I wanted to work on trusting my instinct more, so I picked Team Instinct. Not sure if that's weird but I'm enjoying it. I also never played Pokemon previously so...:/ I enjoy PGo though.

Same, yes it has a bad typing but i always loved it, every game i have played in pokemon i have had a level 100 moltres (expect y im still grinding for it, to busy shiny hunting) and also i have had lvl 100 zapdos as well and...like...level 50 articuno, seriously who uses articuno anymore

Articuno is not water. Moltres is part flying and thats what makes electric super effective. It isnt super effective to fire. And electrics only weakness is ground. But for Zapdos. It isnt effective, it is resistant in real games because part flying type. So its weak to rock and ice.

This video sums up why I chose Instinct. Personality played a big role in which team I chose and how the teams are portrayed says a lot about the people on them. Valor is energetic and loves the thrill of battle. Mystic is calculated and strategic. Instinct is relaxed and adapts.

Have we forgotten about all the memes associated with team instinct? Any time anyone I know says "Team Instinct", someone dabs. My TEACHERS dab. This is why I'm team instinct. Another reason would be people playing the game not wanting to get into conflict. There's a mystic/valor war, so I just moved on to the other team and loved the meme. (Haha it rhymed!)

As an INTP instinct member, this hit close to home. I chose Instinct because both of the other teams seemed too extreme and I just wanted to have fun and play by instinct and without having to plan everything I was doing and instead just playing and enjoying the game. Its one of the reasons I had stopped playing as much because everyone else I was meeting, none of which were Instinct members, were too serious about the game and about winning. I really don't care about winning and care more about if I had fun while playing. Hilarious enough I'm a Slytherin so I guess I would really belong with Team Rocket. 😂

While my favorite color is green, blue comes in at a very close second. I consider myself pretty introverted, and I'm definitely the intellectual type. When I read that there was no in game boosts or play difference between teams, aside from just team association, I made the most logical choice: I picked team Valor, cause Candela is a cutie! :P Also, Blanche seemed boring.

I've always loved Articuno over either of the others so it was an obvious choice for me. I thought the colors that stood behind them, being a pokemon game, were unimportant. Otherwise I would have chosen instinct because I love the color yellow.
