Unfortunately most of these won't go any further without something like CGI video. You know, that's why it's called a "tech demo." I'm not saying "there is no system that can handle this" as a classical regulation here, this is the most stale and unattainable discourse. No, there are already systems today that can handle a AAA game made with UE5, but these generally need to be added to existing PCs (mid-range systems like RTX 3060-4060 are where the majority are used) or to today's PCs. consoles. That's the whole point: OPTIMIZATION. Its engine is so broken and its performance at temperatures is so bad that, unfortunately, it does not seem possible for the games we watch that leave our mouths open and say "this must be a movie" to be played for at least 5 more years. I just read a comment on the new video for Nobody Wants To Die and it read "Stop showing us cinematic game trailers. Include gameplay or nothing at all". Could argue that's a cynical comment in this current generation of graphical fidelity (...or performance). I remember thinking that the screen shots for Gears of War must've been pre rendered like Resident Evil, only to be blown away witnessing the roadie run in motion for the first time. Or when seeing a seemingly cinematic trailer for Uncharted 2 and being amazed even further when playing the game, realising that cinematic WAS the gameplay, seamlessly integrated with one another. But I also remember being lied to by screenshots on the back of the box for "Bad Company" featuring realistic explosions. I later learned that these are often referred to as "Bullshots". Whether or not it's a massive misrepresentation using in-game graphics to fake a cinematic gameplay trailer like Star Wars Battlefront 2 or just visually mis representing a game altogether like with Watchdogs The truth is it's still unclear at this point if the majority of these trailers are genuine representations or not? Eveything that I've played so far on the PS5 is still just a PS4 with the graphical sliders set to max. The first hint of anything TRULY next generation that I've seen so far is GTA 6 and just recently Star Wars Outlaw's. Sadly we can only hold our Breath for the later. When watching a video titled "New Ultra Realistic games" can only be taken intravenously with barrel of salt and can't get excited about the visuals of any of them. Unless they're all running on a PC with more power than Chuck Norris? But we all know Chuck Norris can run Crysis on a Casio calculator.
