All the content is usually just ABOUT diplomacy as a topic, like "Wow, did you know this game" or strategy guides or dry commentary like you have on famous chess games. Barely no one just makes "I played Diplomacy with my friends" content and I would love to devour all of it.

I think the most interesting aspect of this video is that, while trying to sow the seeds of chaos by introducing ChatGPT into the equation, Vale wasn't actually told to do anything too crazy by it. Everyone else was just fucking crazy during this game.

I don't think 'chatGPT did alright in this game' says much about it given some of the wonderful displays your other players showed. It forgets everything between each turn, and they do too.

it was really interesting to watch a game where the winner was not actually involved with our pov much at all. maivi was on the other side of the map from vale, so they didn't really interact, making maivi feel kind of more like a force of nature than a player.

Mavi just quietly and smoothly grew in power, becoming a dominating force that could not be stopped. I really wonder what her side of the story looked like, and if she pulled great strings or just let everyone get so wrapped up in their games that the pennies off the dollar were overlooked in a cascade of falling dominos in the thunderdome.

The Diplomat is the only one able to talk to other Diplomats. The Minister has final say on decisions & talks with only the Diplomat & the Commander, the Commander is only able to talk with the Minister & writes the orders.

I have a board game that will torture people. It’s called zzzinity. It’s an obscure Australian board game that I realised after one play session has so much potential to be an absolute nightmare. It’s about being a corporate entity buying other companies while doing backhand deals with other players. I actually now have the first images of gameplay in over 13 years.

Fun fact. The Isengard theme is just a Concerning Hobbits that has been Inverted. In Volume, Tone, and the main motifs are just the same notes in reverse of one another.

I invented the most convoluted boardgame after your last diplomacy game where I mixed the map style and combat of diplomacy with the resource based development of Catan, to create a game that even with three players would take hours. I didn't even mean to but probably created a torture board game

Torture Game Idea: Bigger Diplomacy. Adding the other continents as well. People playing as a USA and Brazil playing over north and south America (probably one more player near by the north and south), Japan , India, Chad (the country for Africa maybe) and maybe Australia to be added in the game. More units points(for the start maybe to everyone), new units (plane and subs(subs being reviled after 2 turns or smt) tanks could be added as well maybe). Maybe and longer fighting time as well like from 1901 to 1945 or smt. To sum it up big map with all continents :)

Not even 15 minutes in and this already feels like a delightful ordeal, and a mental assault, at the same time.

This is amazing. The fact that you've been apparently brainwashed by a robot has close to zero relevance to the plot. Lynx spends most of the game LARPing as Hitler losing the second world war while progressively getting drunker. The absolute insanity that is the return of Napoleon coupled with Teddy having a boxing match with everyone at once and whatever the hell Pedejo was doing in Germany. Dyno apparently preferring to play War Thunder than continuing to be beaten up by Maivi coming out of the corner with a steel chair. Might as well pack up the channel now, even CNA can't top this.
