you can. they just have a custom keycap type. you need some keycaps for the ROG RX low-profile optical switches

@@paradoxxicality If you can only use their set of keycaps then it's not really user replaceable with other sets. If that doesn't bother you , this keyboard otherwise checks a lot of good boxes. And im happy for those people. But the proprietary keycaps are a turn off for someone who likes to clean their keyboard and change the look of it every now and then. Or perhaps Proprietary was the better word for it. 1)they might not sell those keycaps a year or 2 from now if they used the universal stem styles, you could just swap it out with any set of keycaps expensive or cheap if the stems break or get chipped from a year or 2's worth of abuse. or 2)given the specs of this thing, a keycap swap would be a hell of a way to give this to a family member or friend when youre done with it or selling it later.

I personally refuse to use anything that isn't low profile. Just way more comfortable to use for me, full height feels suuuper clunky after getting used to LP. Keychron K3v2 at home and brought my old G815 to work.

I'm so glad that I came along to this video because straight up I hate to feel and sound of mechanical keyboards. So the keyboard I've been using for like the last year is a flat keyboard from Walmart was $13. It is literally Walmart branded

great for a piano keyboard synthesizers low profile keys work really well in that situation I find so that way you don't accidentally hit the keys down while playing

Not necessarily... I have a laptop, and I literally just love low profile keyboards. They feel right for my fingers. I tried "gamer" keyboards with big keycaps and I can't even write properly on them. No, I don't need to get used to those keyboards. I know I will never. It's just tastes and colors for everybody

I always liked laptop style keyboards better, i dont get how people type with those deep, mechanical keyboards, its just so easy for me to get stuck in the keys, and you can swipe over multiple keys on a flat keyboard which makes programming your quickswitch to the secondary after meeleing so easy
