My advice is to go for Crimson witch of Flames when using him in a Overload team since 40% damage increase on overload is not something to ignore.

@@jamahldavis5078 Yh Chevrouse really is the reason why Overload comps work. you can just be F2P friendly and go GaMing, Chev, Bennett and Fishl and just let GaMing do some Chunky damage (40% Res Shred + potential 40% ATK buff from Chev + Chev's 60% Pyro damage + 25% ATK from Pyro Res + Bennetts buff = lots of damage and that didn't even include Artifacts)

Definitely not. His scaling on plunge attacks is his main damage output, which is a high scaling on top of his high base attack. None of this benefits overload, and on top of that he won't trigger much overloads in his rotations. Therefore, even though it's an increase to overload damage, his overload damage is already crap to begin with, so not worth it at all

Because Gaming's pyro app is so little and Furina is always on with Hydro I will just build Xianyun full atk and use Sucrose as the VV with TTDS this way he can get both attack n EM cause I think VV Xianyun will still swirl hydro 90% of the time

ive been waiting for this character since hes leaks first came out !! still bummed hes not a sword user Lions Roar was tailor made for him !! but ill adjust. and hey i literally just got the Rainslasher sword so maybe ill do a Vap build for him

The sword is one thing, but they really robbed us with his design, the earlier one looked infinitely better than the current Ben 10 rip-off with a bunch of Amazon RGB strip lights.

Hi there! Can someone help me out a little with calculations? Here's the thing I don't understand: - His C2 says that overheal will increase his ATK by 20%. Why does that only translates to a 3.3 % damage increase. In other cases I'd understand, there are split scalings, or only one part of the kit is buffed, etc. However in Gaming's case everything in his kit is reliant only on his ATK, both pa, skill and burst too. - Counting the final outgoing damage is supposed to be multiplicative, right? I have my ATK, I multiply it with the skill multiplier and I add the elemental damage bonus if needed and reduce it by the enemy resistance. If I add another multiplier, 1.2 in this case, then it should increase the whole formula's final value by 20%, shouldn't it? Then that means if I can keep the overheal up constantly or at least every 5s that should mean a constant 20% damage increase. Is there anything I'm missing in these calculation? It is entirely possible, I'm not really that deep into theorycrafting, etc. I just never understood it. - Could it be, that the 20% ATK bonus is only applied to the character's base ATK and not his final ATK, that has the plume, weapon and everything else in it? In this situation I could understand the disparity. Thank you for the help!

@@meowdasbae2 I see, then I just simply had the wrong idea all along. I thought that the game first counts the flat ATK numbers from the character, plume and weapon and only then does the multiplications. Thanks for the clarifications

Since plunges are on the slow side, could melt Gaming be viable like how dragonstrike Diluc is a thing? Also, an atk circlet might be better if he's c6 because 152 free cv is very fair and balanced

Okay! So, I played Gaming, and I am currently leveling him up! The best team I have for him currently is Bennett, Sucrose, and Xingqiu. The Elemental Bursts go in this order: Bennett, Sucrose, Xingqiuc and Gaming. You stay on Gaming and use his Elemental Skill as your main damage dealer + Swirl. I would recommend EM, ER, and Pyro Damage Bonus. Crit Damage would be good to have if you have the BP Weapon! Or Crit Dmg if you have good Crit rate substats! I’m currently farming for him!

He only outdamages *some* five stars, while requiring a bunch of premium supports and his C6. Not a unit I would consider building.

Eh? His best team rival Hu Tao, Lyney, Neuv, Haitham output tho. So I can't see how that's low. He's very premium tho like you said. His damage deep if he lacks any of the other aforementioned piece. He lose 8k going from Xianyun to Kazuha. He lose 7k-8k using Yelan over Furina due to wave requiring NA while his PA won't proc. He lose 7k-8k again using double hydro variant over Bennett. The gap between C0 and C6 is 10k. Yeah he's quite premium but who isn't at this point? Ayaka is premium, Xiao is premium, Ganyu is premium, Wanderer is premium, Hu Tao is premium, Alhaitham is premium, Klee now is premium, Lyney and Neuv also with Furina and C6 Chevreuse, so is Navia whose currently boosted by blessing. Like outside Raiden and Childe inter every carry is more expensive to output their big numbers.

the weapon comparison is way off, since gaming gets a lot of atk from bennett and xianyun's additive dmg, hed much rather get dmg% em and crit over other stats. a more appropriate weapon ranking is SS > RHS > BRS > Verdict > PPS > RS/MF

Yeah this video is crap, he strongly advised to use Portable Power Saw...that weapon has 55% hp secondary stat😂. He didnt even mention Blackcliff and even though SS has the potential to be his Bis having crit rate makes it difficult to build him if you have his c6 + 4 pz marechaussee
