I think Hoyo has realized that off-field dps shouldn’t be stronger than on-field dps. Pyro especially has it tough because of Xiangling who is an exception. Even Fontaine dpses have been looking pretty good.

What are you waffling about... Just the opposite. Take a look at pyro roster. And compare with other elements. We already have overabundance of pyro on-fielders and we have barely anything besides that. Xiangling is Genshin day 1 character. And no, she is not without drawbacks and ideal for every situation. She is very specific. They could very easily design many various interesting pyro off-field DPSs, especially when mixing some utilities in the kit. Miracle happened and we got Chevreuse. Guess what. Lack of off-field pyro is one of her biggest restrictions currently.

@@MarionFR I agree with your sentiments. What I’m trying to say is if Gaming is weaker Xiangling, then just replacing him with Xiangling and buffing her would make a better performing team. Which isn’t balanced. An on-field dps will bring restrictions to the team. Losing the freedom to switch, higher team energy requirements, and maybe more difficult mechanics. Don’t get me wrong. I like playing around restrictions and think it’s fun, but I want to feel rewarded for doing so.

@@cubation9254 I'm referring more to people pulling his cons on his first banner. Instead of 6 Gaming copies, you only need 5. Maybe even 4 if the rumors about there being a free Gaming (separate from the Liyue 4* selector) in 4.4 Lantern Rite is real.

Having a strong C6 4 star (that's not gated like Faruzan) is actually something I enjoy. I don't go ham on the first banner but rather it makes pulls a bit more interesting. I am a 3 year player and have most 4 stars already at C6 so banners are boring unless there is a 5 star I want. With Gaming, it makes the 4 star pulls a bit more interesting.

Stop this Faruzan myth, LOL. She is not Sara, her buff is valuable starting at c0, plus she is viable for more DPS role starting from c1 and good starting from c4. As for building, it's EASIER to make her work by just stacking ER than optimizing various stats on characters like Yunjin or Thoma to get value that makes them worth putting on your team. Stop dumdum myths that people repeat thoughtlessly, get real and good luck.

@@MarionFR Pre C6 Faruzan is D tier, C6 Faruzan is A-S tier and can even work as a main dps. Her ER issues and general clunk is inexcusable Pre C6, it's not just a dmg increase like with Gorou's C6. They locked 80% of her kit behind C6, it's super scummy.

considering how long it could take to C6 a new 4star if you're not whaling, i'm not too interested in learning about his c6 potential, not to mention getting constellations for CR. Maybe part of that is me not using 4star carries much at all.

Also a pretty big part most TC'ers keep leaving out is that his E has a significant travel distance and poise break, and unlike Hu Tao you can't just jump cancel it which means actively staying in/keeping enemies within Bennet's circle is going to be an absolute nightmare after your first or second plunge. Or a better way to think of it, imagine if Xiao had to press E before every single plunge, it makes the current headache of circle impact that much worse.

@@cuppacofi1129itto is never weak, what's holding him back is the fact that geo sucks at breaking elemental shields which is terrible since, hoyoverse are trying to make geo "good" on their own. damage wise, itto is solid, unless you don't build/learn him properly/you don't build his team properly. i'm surprised they never fix this geo shield breaking capabilities cuz it reallysucks in general

They're really power creeping this year with Neuv, Furina, and Ga Ming. It's cool now but in a few months when the abyss DPS checks get a lot higher it's going to suck.

It's normal for games to get harder as we progress hence power creep is needed or else it will just be a repetitive abyss, most people complaining are the ones that also complain we don't have good end game content 🙄

Well only day1 testings will tell, koz we have no idea yet if he will be able to vape all his hits koz xianyun also does a coordinated anemo attack when u plunge. If he cant vape his hits its a big L, if he can its a big W. Im very sus about this, solo furina doesnt tend to apply enough hydro in vape teams (and the xianyun coordinated attacks will weaken the hydro aura ever more), and if you lose the hydro aura your dmg tanks.

Heizo's overall numbers were very bad, everybody was hyped for the unique gameplay. Having screenshot damage of one E cast is not impressive overall numbers wise.

The funny thing is if you go all in on C6 Gaming you're pretty likely to get C2 Xianyun as well, which is a very dmg boost. Honestly not sure what I'll aim for. Going for C0 Xianyun at least (no pity on 50/50, plenty of wishes saved). Then I think I'll do some building and testing before going for cons. I've also got C6 Kazuha who should be fun with Xianyun. Not sure if I want to go for Xianyun and Gaming cons over other characters/weapons yet, It'll depend on how much I like their game play.

He pretty much an experimentation character that rely on Plunge attack and it seems the kit design are pays off well. It's really nice we have three 4* character already good enough at c0 in Fontaine patches and at least player that already have all 4 start Liyue character currently or just want him can get him free next patch.

Even at c0 I think he is still a very solid character especially if you have furina or xianyun. Also we will be able to get him from lantern rite so c1 or c2 is pretty reasonable if you are pulling on the banner.

Hi tgs i have a question, on a recent video you mentioned diluc xianyung teams having betwen 68k and 74k dps, but how much would they improve if you ad the colition damage of a plunge, would that put him abobe gaming in single target?

If diluc can utilize collision plunge then so can GaMing. Collision plunge can also be unreliable and sources say Xianyun doesn’t buff collision plunge damage.

Upon landing, Gaming will consume a fixed amount of HP. Gaming's HP cannot be reduced below 10% by this method. Charmed Cloudstrider DMG is considered Plunging Attack DMG”. Nowhere in that description says anything about him not being able to do plunge collision.

@@danirc1817 Since its en elemental skill you are right in that it might not have a multiplier present but i Will say there’s no way to confirm one way or the other just yet. Personally still think collision plunge is just too unreliable to count on as part of a damage calculation.

30% DMG bonus instead of 60% If you only have a goblet for another DMG% bonus source, it's a 14.5% dps loss If you stack more sources (like Kazuha or Furina), it becomes a smaller loss

The team I've shown is still the best hu tao team for general play to me. Mixes top notch single target dmg with nice aoe performance thanks to kazuha

@@SaxGaming i never said it was as good as the hu tao team, just not bad in comparison. In game performance can't be judged as of now anyway. I didn't use gaming's best theoretical combo either (pyro swirl), just the more practical one Also again I don't think it's a nerfed tao team, I genuinely think that as far as being versatile in all rooms goes, that's her best team still. For boss killing there are other options. Besides since Gaming still has cool aoe, that seemed the most apt comparison to me

@@TheGenshinScientist gaming team has also no CC and the 3 best support for him. Hu Tao only has Yelan, not a good comparison in my opinion. Still a very good video, that's just my opinion. But Tao furina Yelan Bennet/CR has a very higher dmg and AoE is not that bad at all.

I understand that these comparison was made with a somewhat f2p player in mind? So im pulling for Xianyun but I already have a c1 Hu Tao with Homa running with Yelan and Furina. Would it still be a good idea to build GaMing in this scenario or am I better off sticking with my higher investment Hu Tao?

If ur farming marechaussee anyway, might as well build him, he's a liyue character so u prob already have enough mats lying around. Though that assumes u have his c6. If ur only planning on pulling until u get Xianyun u might not get him to c6. But if ur planning to c6 him specifically u might also get c2 Xianyun in which case Gaming's dps also shoots up massively.

I don't expect to be revolutionary, but I just hope he works well with Chongyun. I'm thinking on Gaming, Chongyun, Xianyun and Furina. Where Xianyun would VV Hydro for Furina DMG, Chong would allow cryo plunges from Gaming and his E would always Melt. If this team pass abyss (just like I could with Heizou without Faruzan C6), I'll be happy xD

It’s only his E and his NAs would do no damage then, when you have Xianyun there isn’t really a reason to NA anyways so chongyun is kinda useless

Gaming skill can't be overwritten by other infusions it'll always be pyro so you can only vape or melt while using his skill.

@@Poohbear6 It's not NA, but his plunge. The idea would be QPEPEPEPE (P being Cryo Plunge from Chong+Xianyun and E the Pyro Plunge from Gaming Skill).

What do you mean by that?... Normally plunge attack is hitting the floor, while Venti can lift some enemies up, so it's very serious anti-synergy. Do you mean Venti's wind current for more plunges? That sounds like pure meme, but also funny and interesting thought

If you count xianyun c2 since she is on the same banner then possibly. He was saying it wasn't equivalent but... xianyun is on his banner and chances are he will be bound to her so, if you are going for his c6 chances are you will probably get her c2 too. Her r1 is also pretty much his sig as its buffs are for him

I wouldn't say that pulling a c6 4* is exactly comparable to a c2 5*, as 50% chance for c2 5* is around 280 pulls, where at that same number the chance for a c5 4* is around 85%(c5 because you get free lantern rite gaming). Great video though, really enjoying the content.

Being tied to furina is a bit of a lesser evil but at the same time Nahida for instance doesn't care about the fontaine patch characters either so what now natlan is gonna tie everything to the pyro archon too and gonna become less relevant for sneznaya.

The "Most 5* Carries" probably does not refer to the good ones instead it's the ones like Raiden, Eula,Cyno,Ayato,Ayaka etc.

Considering his absolute inability to deal with multi-wave content because you can't reapply Nahida during his long burst duration, I really don't think he is one of the good ones.

Why in the comparison are you using furina Bennett and cr for gaming, but use double hydro+Kazuha for hu tao? Wouldn’t it make more sense to use hu Taos strongest dps team instead? If so then hu tao would be considerably stronger than Gaming

I used what to me is the best team for general play with hu tao. There are stronger ST variants, but the kazuha one is the best in aoe to me and since gaming's team is also kinda good in aoe, it made even more sense to me

At C0 hes only comparable to Freminet and co if he lack Xianyun and Furina together, so I guess thats correct. Hes very strong but feels like he need this 3 specific unit: Furina, Bennett, Xianyun and being C6. If he want to output top tier 5* dps. Your sheet showed a gap of 16k between C0 and C6. 10k just removing Xianyun for Sucrose/Kazuha. Rosaria isn't a huge loss fortunately over Furina but Kazuha is now mandatory to have. And of course Bennett can't go. Like I was surprised how much he dropped when you switch up. Your comparison is also weird. Dunno why use a double hydto Kazuha Hu tao team was supposed to show. That team is nowhere her best. Below VV vape, other double hydro team and Furina. Why compare him at his best but not do so for Tao?

I use solo hydro furina alot. Mine has about 175% er. With a favonius weapon in the party, she gets just enough er for my rotations. So I think about 170% or more plus favounius should be OK.

Over 200ER. To be safe, I'd use 210 ER or something. About 15ER less for every fav you have.

I never use another hydro with Furina and I have way lower ER than the other responders. But I prob swap into mine a little more as well and she builds energy fast.
