Gamma Ray - with no doubt one of the most important contemporary names of classic heavy metal and THE most respected and influential German band in the genre.
Founded and fronted by Kai Hansen after his departure from Helloween, Gamma Ray became one of the most prominent bands in the European heavy metal scene. Along with the likes of Helloween, Blind Guardian, Primal Fear and Running Wild, Gamma Ray forms the core of the European power metal movement. With the 1995 concept album “Land Of The Free”, Gamma Ray became internationally-known, touring with bands like Iron Maiden, Hammerfall and Stratovarius all over the place.

I so wish Gamma Ray would add Strangers in the Night to their setlist. For me, it's their most underrated song. But in the meantime, let's go for a rebellious classic. :) EDIT : and bloody hell, I love that more acoustic-y live version, it was awesome !

Triskan, haha, seems like Gamma Ray is just a way too great band. They could easily play 30 track setlist and would still leave few songs to miss :D

@@samirvisthass6082 Con todo respeto debo decirte que desconoces mucho de lo que significa la palabra aguante, y más aún su significado. En un principio se usó para dar ánimo o fuerza, y luego se extendió para expresar admiración. Por eso, la palabra va acompañada del nombre de alguna persona o grupo famoso, en este caso GAMMA RAY. Es más, no es que se aplica a un estilo musical como pensas, como tampoco es de un solo lugar como decís (Buenos Aires). La misma abarca todo un territorio que es el argentino, y puede ser que alguna otra nación ya lo haya incorporado, pero eso no lo puedo confirmar. Así que, Sergio no va analizar nada, solo debo decirte que debes informarte e investigar de cómo son las palabras, frases de acuerdo a la territorializacion o región Saludos desde Santa Fe, ARG (No Bs As). ¡Larga vida al METAL!!!

You wish (or more like we wish). It could be possible tho, as Franck Beck as a main vocalist but otherwise, Kais voice is done and gone for sure. Sad thing. I believe he could easily write a good set of Gamma Ray songs for album or couple. But for now on he´s derping with old Helloween shit´n stuff.
