Realistically, I doubt it, but it'd be funny to see Gammoth moving around at the speed of sound when being wyvern ridden. Though then again, perhaps we can get her in Monster Hunter 6? It'd be amazing if so given what they did with Lunastra and the others, turning basic old fights into amazing and challenging ones...

I hate to burst your bubble. But the gammoths have a confirmed gender identification of females being bigger than the males. The gammoths we hunt are all females by default so the male fights would be a lot easier.

@@TsulaAngenati2292 Astalos Vs Rathalos didn't seem that fair either, at least GvT cuts out just before the implied beat down Tigrex was going to receive, whereas AvR has Rathalos on the defensive the entire time and even after they tumble on to the ground we see Astalos smacking a defenseless Rathalos multiple times.

I mean, it’s Tigrex’s fault that it thought it was a good idea to charge straight into a monster 5 times it’s size who, only a few seconds earlier, shrugged off their attacks and YEETED them across the snow. If Tigrex’s neck gets snapped like a Slim Jim it’s their problem.

I also do hope for gammoth to come back especially since we do have a new snow area but the problem with gammoth is that she’s to slow and lumber.she also has a lot of wind up attacks that hunters will take advantage of and she’ll probably get ganged up on and die pretty easily especially for how fast rise/sunbreak is going to be maybe she should return in the next generation if the next generation is more slower past than rise/sunbreak maybe astalos would be more fitting.
