I think this video is the most beautifully made video here on YFL. As a Maharashtrian, I know the value of this Thali. I know the taste and feel of this Thali. Varan bhaat is my all time favorite. Its so simple, benign ( that is why it is called sadha varan ), yet delicious ( you get real flavor of cooked tur daal ) and when had with plain steamed rice, tup (ghee), and lemon juice then that makes it a complete meal. Loved today's naivedya thali! Your cinematographer does outstanding work! 👏 for you and your team.

During visarjan we make a dal preparation which is chana dal soaked and we temper it with spices and it served with freshly grated coconut and lime juice accompanied with modak. It is typically made in vidarbha. You can try that too! Also I'm so glad that you know about valicha birda and other marathi recipes!

I really have great respect towards chef because his pronunciation is always be proper according to the state like " saar" because " Saar" culture will start from maharashtra and end with Tamilnadu in maharashtra they call "Saar" in other south Indian states like karnataka call "saaru" and Tamilnadu , andrapradesh "charu"
