H o l y s h i t. I don’t think I’ve ever cried this much to a song. It’s so gorgeous. I don’t know how it’s possible for you to always perfectly capture the emotion you’re trying to express. Wow. I love you so much, thank you for saving my life countless times

Besides the beautiful lyrics, I absolutely adore the little sounds in the background to give it that extra personal/close feeling. Simplicity in it's purest form can be very beautiful and this is a great example of that.

Keystone to the album. Brilliant. The production of this song - so personal, so private... the creaks of the piano pedals - puts me in the room where this story is being told. A time where words alone won't do, you just have to sing it to tell the truth.

Now I miss my own father too. I just don't know how to deal with his passing, it's almost a year now. It's probably not something you'll just let time heal or something you move on from. I lost my Papa and I miss him so much.
