Love that shit brother. I seen guru and dj premier in Belfast in a really small intimate venue, maybe 500 peeps filled the place to the max. Pretty sure jurassic 5 were supporting but guru just strolled out rocking this super smooth outfit and a white kangol flat cap and proceeded to absolutely rock that joint, the best hip hop gig I've ever been 2 hands down. Rip guru your rhymes will remain to be timeless 🙏

It was dope hearing Guru on national television before game 1 of the NBA finals Thursday night. It was very appropriate being that he's from Boston originally and it worked as far as setting the mood for the game for me anyways! 😆 Gang Starr fo life!!

Wow, you inspire me. I'm nearly 51 and spent most my life starting and stopping training(procrastinating) and never really getting where I want to in terms of progression. I started training with weights today in garden and listening to this and I also have some of these songs on CD. Our age group know what real soulful high frequency music is, even old school hip hip is like jazz ,blues etc compared to the rubbish songs these rappers make today. Tried to get my sons to listen to this but music has power and its a shame they're drawn to the rubbish. Also "real" hip hop is excellent for training, especially boxing as I use to do this as well but will get back into it. Peace and blessings from UK

I think primo is the best for diggin sample and plays/create loops but Pete Rock is a better "composer", he plays with various samples to make song warmer, it's different, not as "metronomic" as primo but is it not less dope...
