What is Gangnam like? Is it a good place to explore on a night? What are the people like and are the restaurants expensive? We take a wander around the backstreets of Gangnam, visit a rooftop for some amazing views, get help from a friendly local, explore the night market and eat some Korean food which made me throw up later in the night. #SouthKorea #Koreanfood #Gangnam

@@PirateDan I think it came from my obsession with league of legends and love for Faker lol. He is regarded as the best player of all time. Always wanted to travel to Korea to go to the massive PC cafes. From there I got more into culture/food/kdramas and stuff. Found ur channel when looking up korean hostels because I thought I would be able to go before covid

i think our house is the sketchiest spot. we always smash shit from fighting on the ground and bruise each other or smash stuff. we're safe when we leave the house hha

Yeonsinnae exit 6, I think Yeonseo-ro 29-gil, MIGHT be interesting--this was like a mini-Hongdae back in the day. It was actually popular enough that there was another Baby Guinness location there. They would close off these streets to pedestrians only on weekend nights.

@@PirateDan Try it out and explore around that neighborhood. It was and likely still is a cool spot! Very few foreigners. It's mostly a date spot and a place for Korean salarymen after hours.

How have you been Dan? How do you find accessible rooftops in Seoul? It is surprising as a korean 👊🏻 Korean chicken is good but so expensive now in my opinion :D
