This is an interview I conducted with Mob Style rapper and Harlem legend Gangsta Lou. He takes us on a journey through Harlem, Queens and DC. Classic interview, one for the books.
All videos on this channel are created by me. I film my footage using a Cannon 4000D DSLR and also buy footage and images from royalty-free stock website Storyblocks for which I pay an annual membership. All the narrations are provided by me and or my guests and are exclusive for this channel. I interview guests and allow them to share their stories. I present these stories in a documentary style format. All the content has original commentary and narrative. My videos contain high quality edits and special effects to create truly unique content. I use Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop to help create these video. All the music I use is from KZfaq's Audio Library.

Beautiful interview, and I hear sadness and regret, pain and hurt in his voice. I loved the song Mob Style, and I remember going into the record shop in the Colliseum on Jamaica ave with my Sister and buying the album, and later on, I can't remember how, but I also ended up with the cassette, so I would play the album on the turntable in the living room, and I would play the cassette on the boombox in my room. Years later, it freaked me out when I realized who the group Mob Style truly was.

i think when they hear it they dont really acknowledge that but also there are cats who were around but no active who are playing parts about the past that they did not partake in. Jay said it best you couldnt talk about it if you aint live it. You cant play with the streets you have to step how you gonna step and take everything that comes with it. Never be ready to point a finger or give a head nod to the cops. You grow in it and watch other folks mistakes. I did mines so I can relate.

The problem with being the era of 5he first to do it is everything that happened is new so you just role with it! Now a days everyone can quote or pull some form of education from one of these dudes story as a manual of what not to do! But back then every actions or reactions was brand new and no one knew if the reactions was good or bad! I was on the porch when shit was going on out side in New York! I slid off the porch around 10 years old! And the respect for older people was great, helping old lady's with there personal grocery cart! System bumping from the 4th floor fire escape got half the block bopping turning the fire hydrant on in the summer till police comes and turn it off! And body's being found in every abandoned building in every block due to owners setting fires to the buliding for insurance reasons! Dudes walking around hoods talking about sowing the block up and getting baseball batted out of the hood! I was running around wearing over sized 3xLong Bart Simpson shirts eating 1$ hero, quarter water, quarter chip, and a honey bun! 2 dolkers😁 Damn I miss those days! When the 1990s hit that's when we started bumping cause most of the OGs was dead or doing 25 to life! And boy did we Fuck shit up cause now people is snitching to the point we can't even last 5 years before getting picked up and another crew take over😡👮👮 Now we know better cause everyone connected the dots and know who snitched and who kepted it G! But only the snitches coming home is writting the storyline???👮😲😤😰 WTF. We know who they are the funny thing is not one stepping to them cause they may be snitches but they 10× more gangster then most of these gangster that's out now The murder game was straight up and quiet! Now it's broadcast and sloppy with no reason other then Fame and colors? Shout out to The young old school hearted ones that still keep it solid.

I like Gangsta Lou he’s definitely a real one. I heard the interview that Azie did with Vlad and he specifically said that Rich asked him to look out for Po and he got cool with Po because he was Rich’s man (I think he said Rich and Po meet in jail).
