A documentary I produced and directed about the rise and fall of the Yellow Top Crew (YTC) from the Upper West Side of Manhattan in the late 80s early 90s. This documentary features original commentary from Tition and Chango.
Narration: Pabey
All videos on this channel are created by me. I film my footage using a Cannon 4000D DSLR and also buy footage and images from royalty-free stock website Storyblocks for which I pay an annual membership. All the narrations are provided by me and or my guests and are exclusive for this channel. I interview guests and allow them to share their stories. I present these stories in a documentary style format. All the content has original commentary and narrative. My videos contain high quality edits and special effects to create truly unique content. I use Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop to help create these video. All the music I use is from KZfaq's Audio Library.

Hmmmmmmmmm. 52 years young. Born & raised just north of Manhattan Heights in Washington Heights. Never heard of YTC gang. From the looks of this documentary. YTC was right up there with The Wild Cowboys from the heights. Knew & grew with those dudes. This documentary was great. Definitely was engaged the entire time. Great work. As a childhood friend of mine recently told me. It’s all interesting but nothing to be proud of.

that whole life is torment , torment others and getting tormented. Mpst stories like this all you see is people concerned about a image or personal that they will kill kids, women and their own friends and family to keep. The devil makes you believe that image is important but in the end ( death) you see it ain't. Thus image traps and kills others watching you , like young women and children. There is a expiration on thus kind of life that spoils quick like milk. When you in it you get caught in a bigger lie that it is no way out ! Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of righteousness and all else will be added unto you!

I met my wife and lived on 107th and Columbus Ave during this time. That area was a dangerous place for a new face nobody knew. You had to get to were you needed to be and not stand too long in front of any given building because you brought negative attention to yourself. Needless to say we got the fuck oughta there ASAP.

I don't speak much about those days but I considered YTC to mean YoungTalentedCrew, because of their life creative minds. there were many I met and they were absolutely overwhelming. (In a good way) They handled their Business when necessary as they should. I was there I know I was going through a phase in my life 6pm-6am. To this day I have much love for Tito ,haven't seen Changing since he's been out but same same. How unique is this story, it needs to be told in reels!

Back then u had better organization and thats because the elders would take the young ones under their wing teach them the art of hustling. That's nonexistent nowadays because everyone is out for self. After the 90's that was pretty much the end of the black organized crime era.At least to the level of that magnitude.

That’s definitely not true. There are still organized black mobs that easily gross over $5mil still til this day. Maybe not in NY but elsewhere, yes.

Your documentaries are superb!! Unlike other documentaries who include people that wasn’t there but giving their perspectives as facts, you use people who were actually there. I appreciate your creativeness. Keep doing what your doing being the lone wolf and thank you to the people within your documentaries who shared their stories… and Chango, your fine a** can tell a story 💯

The difference between my generation and the older Generations is they actually had real big homies that didnt wont want them in the streets but if they were going to be in the streets they made sure they taught them the right way to do things. There OGs lawyer saved them from a lot of prison time
