We believe that he was on his way to give us some information about a crime syndicate, when he had an “accident”. That can also mean that other gangsters might try to assassinate him before he wakes up. I will have to keep a close watch on everyone around me…

A rookie police officer returns home after his first day when a young woman runs up to him in panic, forces him against the wall, and kisses him in a last ditch effort to hide from a gangster. The cop, against his better judgement, lets her hide in his house. She then tells him that the man who was chasing her is in league with a human trafficking ring and that he kidnapped her and had plans to sell her overseas to a very wealthy and sadistic client. But she managed to escape and had been on the run for days, not knowing who she could turn to. Feeling like he needs to protect her, the cop decides to let her stay with him for a while until he can get her into witness protection. The client meets up with the criminal in person the next day at the airport after becoming tired of waiting, wanting to see what the “merchandise” looks like up close before making a decision. The criminal then tells the client that he lost the girl, but then explains that he has a contact on the force who’d be willing to help out if paid enough. Intrigued, the client decides he can wait a tiny bit longer. The cop makes the girl breakfast and serves it to her when she wakes up. He then leaves her with ann emergency phone and locks up the house for her protection before seeing the officer assigned to training him outside. The superior explains that he’s there to pick him up for work, but knocks him unconscious and leaves him on the ground. He then wakes up a few hours later and enters his house after seeing the front door was forced open. He then sees signs of a struggle and deduces that his CO is in league with the traffickers. After looking around, the rookie officer realizes that the girl still had the emergency phone he gave her before leaving. After tracking it down from his phone, the trail leads him to an old warehouse on the other side of town. As he prepares to go inside, he sees the criminal and the client drive up in the criminal’s car and enter the warehouse after talking to his superior officer. He then pulls out his gun and attempts to sneak around back, but is attacked by his former superior. During the fight, the rookie berates his superior for betraying his badge for “a few lousy bucks.” The superior tries to justify his actions by stating that the money is more than the rookie will ever see in his life. The dirty cop tries to cut his former partner in on it, but he responds by knocking him out. The rookie then grabs his superior’s radio to call for backup. He then goes inside and hides behind some scrap metal, as he sees the girl tied to a chair, at the mercy of the traffickers. Impressed with what he sees, the client decides he’s ready to make a deal. The rookie cop then throws a wrench over to the other side of the room. The criminal goes to check it out and is knocked out by the cop when he does. The cop then appears and aims his gun at the client. The client then states that he can make the rookie cop rich beyond his wildest dreams if he just looks the other way, but the rookie refuses. They then hear the sounds of police sirens outside. The traffickers and the dirty cop are then arrested. The chief of police approaches the rookie, stating that despite the breach in protocol, combined with the risks that were taken, he did a good thing by exposing his superior and the human trafficking ring, as well as risking his life for someone he didn’t even know. The rookie thanks his chief, stating that was only trying to serve and protect. The chief remarks by stating that it’s all he needed to do and tells the rookie that he’s the kind of cop the city needs. The rookie then goes to check on the girl, who thanks him for saving her. The cop responds by stating that he only did what was right. The girl then asks the cop if she can take him out for a thank you coffee, and the video ends with their hands touching and the two falling deeply in love.

Idea for story with similar elements: The story focuses on two cousins. One is stuck in a dead-end job as a grocery store cashier, a high school drop-out, who still lives with his mother, and the other is a highly revered man who is well respected in the community and has a bright future having graduated from college with honors. While attending a party celebrating his more successful cousin's engagement, the guy is dumped by his girlfriend who is tired of being with a man who has no future. Despite the efforts of his mother who tries to console him, he falls into a state of depression, not helped by his cousin who pretends not to know him. As a result, he has a little too much to drink and gets drunk. Knowing he is in no condition to drive, he gets his mother to ask his cousin to drive him home after the party ends. On the drive home, the cousins get into an argument where the more successful one mocks him, calling him an embarrassment to the family, and that he is nobody compared to him. The guy defends himself, saying that his mother has been going through hard times since her husband left her and that he had to drop out of school to start working to support her. When confronted about his attitude towards him earlier, his successful cousin says that he can either admit to everyone that they are cousins, or he can continue to hold his head up high in the community, but he can't do both. Suddenly, their argument is interrupted when the car hits a patch of black ice and skids out of control. In his stupor, the man hears screams and the sound of impact before the car finally crashes into a tree. He hits his head against the dashboard and is knocked unconscious. When he comes to, he finds himself in the hospital being treated for a concussion. But to his surprise, he finds himself handcuffed to the bed. A police officer tells him they found him slumped over the wheel and arrested him for drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter, much to his horror. The man protests that he wasn't driving, but the officer doesn't believe him, and asks him to stop denying everything or he will also be charged with lying to the police. The guy's mother has heard about what happened, but she believes her son's innocence and even tells the police that she had asked his cousin to drive him home. To her shock and that of her son, the police reveal that the cousin has told a completely different story about how the guy had insisted on driving himself home. The man realizes that his cousin placed him behind the wheel, taking advantage of his drunken stage to frame him. He learns more details of the accident from his appointed lawyer, that a woman is dead and her husband is in a coma. To top it off, the woman was pregnant. As a result, he is now facing life in prison if found guilty. His mother pays his bail with some life savings and he is released into her custody. As a result of the bad publicity surrounding him, the whole community is already convinced of his guilt. He loses his job and he is banned for life from the grocery store. His own mother is also banned from the grocery store when she attempts to defend her son's name publicly at the store after he is fired, even saying how he has never told a lie in his whole life, the manager only says that there is a first time for everything. He is later confronted by the family of the woman who died, her sister happens to be his cousin's fiancee. The man continues to protest his innocence, but no one believes him. They are unwilling to believe his claims that his cousin placed him behind the wheel due to his reputation and the woman's sister accuses him of insulting her sister's memory. The guy argues that just because of his cousin's reputation doesn't mean he isn't capable of doing such things. The family makes it clear that he is not welcome at the funeral and that if he does show up, they'll have him arrested. Soon, the guy can't go out without being hassled and called a murderer. The community is further insulted by his protests of innocence and they see his claims about his cousin as slander. A police detective investigating the case visits the guy and his mother, revealing photographs of a dent in the dashboard and the steering wheel airbag that should have cushioned his head and he has his suspicions that the guy is telling the truth. The lawyer tells him that his only hope of avoiding conviction is if the other victim awakens from his coma. Together, mother and son go confront his cousin who admits that he did place him behind the wheel in order to avoid being publicly shamed for the accident. He smugly confesses how easy it was to convince everyone that he is the guilty party due to the difference in their reputations and that he believes himself untouchable. Mother and son are disgusted that he framed his cousin just to maintain his reputation. She gives him a chance to come clean to everyone, threatening to disown him as her nephew if he does not, but he is unfazed. He tells his cousin that soon he will be where he belongs, under lock and key, never again to embarrass him or the family, and to get used to the taste of prison food while he can because even inmates have no tolerance for child-killers. He further taunts his cousin saying that his father would have been ashamed of him, much to the digust of his aunt who calls him a coward. After they arrive home, the mother receives a call from the police detective with good news. Sometime later, in court, the cousin is still sticking to his story about how his cousin drove drunk regardless of the consequences and the guy continues to tell his own story. The defense shows photographs of the inside of the car with the lawyer asking how he could have suffered a concussion if the airbag from the steering wheel cushioned his head and how the dashboard got dented if he was found alone in the car. He then calls forward a surprise witness who turns out to be the second victim. He testifies what happened that fateful night, revealing that the last thing he saw before he lost consciousness was the driver getting out of the seat and dragging the passenger behind the wheel. With the truth exposed, everyone realizes that the guy was lying about his cousin all along. His fiancee breaks up with him in disgust and he is arrested by the bailiff on orders of the judge who drops the charges against the defendant. The judge makes a speech about how what happened that night to two people was a terrible accident, and if the guy had admitted the truth on the spot, the community would have forgiven him. But since he tried to take advantage of his cousin's inebriated state to frame him for vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving, they cannot. In the end, despite efforts to protect his reputation, he only ended ruining it beyond repair. With his name cleared, everything returns to normal for the guy. He gets his job back, he and his mother are allowed to shop in the store again, and everyone who accused him apologizes to him. As a result of all he went through, the guy decides to go back to school, finish his grade 12, and build a better future for himself and his mother.

As for someone whose been in a Coma for two week’s before & to wake up with the loss of two years of memories, this would be such a hard thing to deal with when it comes with others (such as doctors, family & *friends I don’t remember* ) telling you what you’re supposed to be like & who you’re supposed be. I’ve been through that & hated that reality. *But goodness to have cops tell you who you are? Shivers!* 😠😑

Surprised he wasn't arrested. Don't think searched were necessary to frisk anyone. There should be metal detectors. But i thought it was too hasty to arrest him. Should've "looked out" after hearing it. That woman was a real smart alec😂. As usual. And seeing the brunette guy again so soon😄. Apparently he was no self preserver. (True story) My friend Mackenzie was catfish by this boy named Kelvin but he didn’t know what it was and Mackenzie went to far by saying he was in a slow class and had no friends and Mackenzie almost got beat up for that and eventually one month later Mackenzie got into a relationship with this boy named Brandon they dated until May 22 Bradon broke up with Mackenzie and hold his whole class that he didn’t want her anymore and kelvin felt bad for Mackenzie so he supported her.
