@@ishajindal1985 When most of India is experiencing extreme heat this year, Sikkim can be a great escape, however, the peak season for tourists end by the initial weeks of June as the rainy season starts soon after. So it's recommend to check the weather forecast before making any booking. If it's not going to rain for any particular date, you're good.

June se rainy season start ho jata hai toh weather forecast check kar lena hai travel karne se pehle. Prepared rehna hai jaise ki kuch extra day(s) rakhna aur umbrella(s) carry karna. Otherwise, weather plains ke muqable bahot hi pleasant rahega. Temperature everyday 30 degrees se kam hi rehne wala hai.

June se actually rainy season shuru ho jata hai toh weather yoh cool aur pleasant rahega hi par aapko baarish ke liye bhi prepared rehna hoga. Matlab weather forecast check karlena, agar jyada baarish dikha raha hai toh trip ko postpone kar lena ya phir trip pe jaake kuch din extra rakhna. Gangtok ghumne me koi issue nahi hogi. West Sikkim me bhi koi issue nahi hoga. Par East ke Nathula aur North Sikkim ke taraf aapko thode issues ho sakte hain.

Hi. You can definitely find snow at places like Zero Point, Yumthang Valley and Katao. You can go to all these places from Lachung in a single day. The chances are less but, you may also find snow at Nathula. The weather will be great for sure.

From June, the rainy season starts, so the whole month of May is perfect. Gangtok, Nathula Pass, Gurudongmar Lake, Pelling, Lachung, Lachen are the most visited places but, Lachen & Gurudongmar lake are closed for visitors nowadays as several bridges were heavily damaged due to the cloud burst that happened last year. I think one should mix both popular tourist places and offbeat places in their itinerary. You can start from east (places like Zuluk) then head to Nathula and then to Lachung, Yumthang Valley & Zero Point, then to gangtok, Ravangla, namchi & pelling. You can go clockwise or anti-clockwise as your wish! Just a suggestion😊

City bus is not available there and getting a taxi is the only option to commute in Gangtok. They charge Rs. 200 to Rs. 300 to go from one place to another.

I think you are going to drive there. Even if you aren't, the roads are indeed risky to drive on even for the locals. There are many landslide zones and not all are marked and you won't find sign boards at all such places. The peak season to travel to Sikkim ends in May because after that the rainy season starts. So you may find rain in the 3rd week of June which will make the roads even riskier. Rest, if you haven't already made the bookings, make sure to keep a few days extra.

July rainy season hai aur favourable time nahi hai Sikkim jaane ke liye. Par aapne phir bhi decide kar liya hai toh kuch din extra jaroor rakhein kyunki aise bhi din ho sakte hain jab din bhar baarish ho ya phir landslides ya kisi aur wajah se agar Nathula Pass khula na ho toh aise reasons ke liye kuch din extra rakhna sahi hoga.

You can find a bit of snow around Tsomgo lake, however, you'll find more snow from Tsomgo till Nathula.

@@harry1232244 No worries. Actually it's good to suggest friends and families not to travel in rainly season to the hilly areas. But, it's also about your willingness to travel no matter what comes your way and also luck, no? You may not get rain as the weather in those areas are such unpredictable and for sure, you'll find hotels at good prices. So what I mean to say is, if you have already booked your tickets, then please take some precautions and have a good time.

@@harry1232244 Actually it's very simple. If you are traveling to Nathula or any other places in Sikkim, you need to get the permit yourself. Otherwise, the taxi drivers get it done for their passengers. Suppose you have to go to Nathula on June 3rd, talk to a travel agency guy on June 2nd which you can find in every nook and corner in Gangtok or to any taxi driver in Vajra taxi stand and provide the required documents (any of passport/voter ID/DlLs copy+2 passport size photo) and they will get it done for you.

Nathula Pass is open through out the year apart from a few months in the winter due to heavy snowfall. In the summers as well, it gets closed on some days due to bad weather or heavy snowfall. Once you reach Gangtok, the taxi drivers will help you with the PAP and they are the ones who will let you know if it's open or not because they get the news from the officials.

Thand rahegi 20th May ko aur aapko warm clothes bilkul carry karne chahiye. Aapko snow Changu Lake se Nathula ke beech mil jayegi aur North Sikkim ke Yumthang valley, Katao aur Zero Point jaise jagahon par bhi mil jayegi.

Ji Tsomgo lake ke liye bhi permit chahiye. Agar main samjha toh aap 3 log ek scooter pe jaane wale hain. Agar aisa hai toh woh most possibly allow nahi karenge. Aap 2-3 scooters/bikes le rahe hain tab toh Koi issue hi nahi hai. Aur bike rental service providers aapko permit ke baare me bhi jaankari de denge nahi toh aap Gangtok panhoch ke banwa lena kisi bhi tour agent ke paas se. Enjoy your trip!🙂

The weather will be great at that time. I've actually lost the contact details of the driver who had taken us to Nathula but, don't worry. The drivers are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly at the same time. You can approach any tour and travel operator which you can get at every corner of Gangtok so that they can help you with PAP as well as the taxi. The taxi should cost around Rs. 6000 per vehicle. If I find the contact details of the driver, I'll surely share it with you.

Video bahut hi accha tha.. aapne bahut acche se explain kiya. lekin Pahuchna jitana aasaan apne bataya hai utana aashan hai nahi.. kyuki Railway pure desh train late karta hai 8hours 10 hours to normal ho gaya hai kabhi kabhi Train cancel bhi kar dete hain. 2022 me ham Darjiling gaye the Train Ek din pahle cancel hua. fir bhi jaise taise dusri train lekar Darjiling pahuche.. abhi Recent Uttarakhand gaye the vapsi ki train 10 ghante late. Total 30 ghante Train me aur 10 ghante Station me bitane ko majboro huye..😪 Isliye train ka koi bharosa nahi.

Rajesh ji, aap yakin nahi karenge par last 2 saal me maine jitne bhi train journeys kiye hain, ek bhi train time pe nahi aayi. Aur 2-3 ghanta late hona aam sa ho gaya hai. Ab too aadat si hi ho gayi hai.

It hasn't opened after the flash flood that happened last year. Some says it's going to open in 2-3 months while some says that it's going to take more than a year. Let's hope it opens soon.

Aap jab ja rahe hain tab temperature toh bahot hi pleasant rahega matlab maximum 25 to 30 degrees ke beech me hi rahega. Par rainy season bhi start ho raha hota hai toh aap uske liye jaroor prepared rehna bas.

Yes. The Gangtok Airport (PYG) is very much operational. I just checked if a flight is available from New Delhi. If you can't find direct flight from your city to Gangtok, you can check flights for Bagdogra as the options will be more.

You can definitely go to Sikkim on your bike, however, if you are planning to explore more than Gangtok and you are solo, then it won't be recommended. If you are planning to do it with your friends, then alright. You will find snow in North Sikkim in places like Yumthang Valley and Zero Point and may find some in Nathu La as well.

Gangtok to Nathula Pass jaane aur lautne me hi aapka 6-7 hours chala jayega. Darjeeling to Gangtok sharing taxis run karte hain aur regular intervals me jisme about 3.5 - 4 hours lagte hain. Toh ek din me Darjeeling to Nathula Pass and back possible nahi ho payega kyunki PAP bhi chahiye aapko. Toh aapko Gangtok me ek din rukna padega. Matlab aap ek evening me Gangtok panhoch ke, PAP ke liye kisi Taxi wale se baat kar lijiye, morning me as early as possible Nathula ke liye nikal jaiye aur jaldi Gangtok wapas aake phir Darjeeling ke taraf badh jaiye. November me aapko badhiya snow milega aur mazza aayega.

Near Gangtok, Nathula especially after Tsomgo lake till Nathula is the place to find show. Now you can't go to Gurudongmar lake, however, you can go to Lachung and near that, Katao, Yumthang Valley and Zero Point are the places where you can find snow which my next video wll be all about.

You can travel with public transport till Gangtok without issues. Sharing cabs and bus are available from Siliguri. Then you can also find sharing cabs for Nathulal as well. It will cost you ₹1000-1200 as compared to ₹6000 for a whole cab. For local sightseeing you can hire a taxi for ₹2000 for 10 spots.

I traveled with Thrillophilia and it was good. It did cost me 20k. You can find many less expensive options once you reach Gangtok. I had done quite a lot of research before making the booking and had finally zeroed I on Thrillophilia. Sikkim trip can be very expensive but you also have to choose a trustworthy website or service provider. Makemytrip, Thomas and Cook and many other service providers offer packages for Sikkim which you can check out according to your budget.

Yeh hume khud tab banwane ki jarurat tab padti hai jab hum khud ki bike leke jate hain. Baaki aur saare cases me jaise ki taxi me hum jaate hain Nathula ya aur protected areas toh yeh taxi wale/tour operators bana lete hain. Toh uska jo bhi charge hota hai woh taxi fare me included hota hai. Aapko bas yeh karna hai ki shaam ko kisi taxi wale se baat kar leni hai next day agar jana hai Nathula Pass toh. Iss video me maine Gangtok to Nathula pass tak dikhaya hai. Taxi fare Rs. 6000 per vehicle ka hota hai jisme aap 4-5 log jaa sakte hain aur is isme PAP ke charges included hote hain. North Sikkim ke baare me next video me bataya hai. Gangtok to Lachung aur phir wahan se Yumthang Valley ka maine Thrillophilia se package liya tha 20k ka jiske saath Nathula Pass bhi included hota hai. Gangtok to Lachung ka toh exactly nahi bata sakta but expensive hoga taxi fare, maybe 8-10k or more ek taraf ka. Wahan se Yumthang Valley ka lete hain around 3000 aur phir wahan se Zero Point ka additional 2500. Toh hamesha se yeh recommended raha hai aur main bhi recommend karunga ki aap koi package le lein kisi bhi trusted site se ya phir Gangtok aake kisi travel agency se.

June & July me snow milna mushkil hai. Agar kisi wajah se achanak se mausam kharab ho gaya toh snowfall ho sakta hai. Snow ke liye sab se accha time hai winters (December to February) aur after winters (March & April). June & July me rainy season bhi rahega jo ki favourable time nahi hai Sikkim ke liye.

If you are taking your own bike, you'll have to get it made by yourself which your hotel staffs will help you with whereas, if you are planning to explore Sikkim by taxi and booking a taxi, the driver will take care of it. But, do inform the driver one day prior to your travel date so that he can get it done in the morning on your travel date. Ex. If you have a plan to go to Nathula on 30th. Then, talk with a taxi driver or get in touch with a Tour and Travel Agency in Gangtok in the evening of 29th.

It would have been an issue if Gurudongmar lake was open and you would have gone there. But, it's not possible to go there nowadays. So you can go to Lachung and Yumthang Valley with the kid, however, it won't be advisable to take him/her with you to places like Zero Point (Yumesamdong) because of it's really high altitude.
