Ummeed hai baarish thodi kam ho jayegi next month. August one of the best months nahi hai Himachal ke liye par Dalhousie side thoda safe hai kyun ki uss side mishaps ki koi khabar nahi aati. July se September tak rainy season rehta hai par aapne decide kar liya hai toh jaane se pehle thoda forecast check kar lena aur please be safe.

In most parts of Himachal, it has been raining since the beginning of this month, but there have been no reports of any damage in the Dalhousie region. That part is safer than the rest for sure. We can expect the weather to be good in August.

Any place with a view of Naini Lake is a good place to stay. From the northern part of the Mall road which is nearer to Naina Devi Temple till the southern endwhere lies the bus stand is a pretty good location, however, you may not find rooms there during the peak season.

Bas Dehradun - Mussoorie ka bataun toh, Dehradun se Rs. 80 bus ka, hotel ka Rs. 2600 (2 din ka), scooty ka Rs. 1200 (2 din ka), Khaane peene ka Rs. 2000 (2 din ka), Misc. expenses Rs. 1000 maan lijiye aur Dehradun wapas sharing taxi se jaate hain toh Rs. 350 per head toh total kharcha ek solo traveller ke liye Rs. 7250 aprox. hai. Par aap isme bhi kam kar sakte hain jaise ki scooty aap Rs. 500 me bhi le sakte hain bargaining me acche hain toh, agar hostel lete hain toh aapka Rs. 1000 me 2 din stay ho sakta hai, phir khaane ke preferences hain jo aapko bahot save karne ke mauke milenge.

June to August is the rainy season in Dalhousie. According to news reports, rain has created havoc in most parts of Himachal, making it unsuitable for visiting. While other areas have faced issues like landslides, Dalhousie hasn't, and the same was the case last year. Still, it’s generally not advisable to visit the mountains during the rainy months. If you’ve already decided to go, please be safe.

After doing a bit of research, I found that Forest Rest House isn't up for online booking, however, there are a lot of other similar options available in Kalatop itself and you can book your stay through sites like Goibibo and Booking.com.

Going by the news channels, the situation is not at all suitable to visit the mountains. I wouldn't recommend visiting any hill stations in Uttarakhand and Himachal right now. I just found an article that says there was a landslide on the Dehradun-Mussoorie road last week. Tourist places in the plains should be preferred now.

November bahot accha time hai Sikkim jaane ke liye. Temperature 5 se 15 degrees celcius ke beech rahenge. Aur North sikkim me snow bhi mil jayega.

November me jyada thand nahi hogi par pleasant weather bilkul rahega. Snow etc. aapko December ke end me milta hai. Hotels ke price normal hi rahenge aur Rs. 1000 se milne shuru ho jayenge. Aapke requirements ke hisaab se aap kisi bhi limit tak jaa sakte hain. Aap homestays bhi try kar sakte hain.

July aur August actually kisi bhi hill station jaane ka sahi time nahi hai par Mussoorie thoda sa safer rehta hai baaki hill stations se. Ek do din extra rakhein in case koi din waste ho jaye baarish ki wajah se toh aur stay safe. Aapko kaafi jyada greenery dekhne ko milegi aur hotels saste me mil jayenge.

It's not one of the most favorable months to visit the mountains, but Mussoorie can still be a good choice due to its proximity to Dehradun and excellent connectivity. Just be prepared and keep a day or two extra in case it rains, as it's quite likely to do so. When it comes to safety, it won't be as risky as any other hill stations in Uttarakhand and Himachal in July.

July me jaana recommended nahi hai kyun ki rainy season chal raha hota hai. Landslides, road blockages aur time waste ho sakta hai baarish ki wajah se aap ghum nahi paate hain toh. Par agar baarish nahi hoti hai toh phir koi issue nahi hai. Uss time pe jaane se pehle weather forecast thoda check karlena.

Direct buses aren't available between Mussoorie and Delhi. You have to take a bus to Dehradun and then another one to Delhi.

Ji license ki jarurat toh padti hai aur rent Rs. 900 tha.

Yeah, it's there. i think it's one of the oldest hotels in Mussoorie.

Yes this is the oldest hotel and one of the best hotels of Mussorie. We used to stay there when we were children. Mussorie was our second home in summers. We used to book. cottage or house there for two months. There was one green cottage on the mall,and mount rose on the camel back road where we used to stay. Hope their are still there.At that Time Mussorie was not congested at all. Now it has changed a lot.

Harsh bhai, jo train Pathankot se Joginder Nagar chalti thi na, woh ab nahi chal rahi hai. Aap Bus se Bir aaram se panhoch jayenge. Pathankot se direct bus Bir ke liye milti hai toh acchi baat hai nahi toh, Palampur ya Baijnath aake wahan bus change karke aap Bir panhoch sakte hain.

@harshwardhan7935 Haanji, bus aaram se mil jayegi. Yeh koi issue hai hi nahi. Jyada se jyada aapko ek jagah pe hi bus change karni padegi. Fare Rs. 250 - 300 se jyada nahi hogi.. Bus aapko ordinary milenge. Aur Bir me hotels aapko Rs. 800 - 1000 me mil jayenge. Aap koshish karna Bir Road me rehne ke liye.

Palampur ek chota sa aur shaant sa sheher hai. Kyunki mujhe jyada crowd nahi pasand mujhe Palampur bahot accha laga. Main agar town se bahar kahin ruk pata toh aur bhi accha lagta.

Actually Christmas ke baad se hi snowfall start ho jaata hai Himachal aur Uttarakhand ke hill stations me.. Aur Mussoorie ka bhi yahi case hai. Par snowfall weather ke upar depend karta hai aur achaanak se ho sakta hai. Par haan 28 December ke baad aap bilkul expect kar sakte hain snowfall.
