Garage Industrials Remake

These are no longer the fans currently installed in the garage.
*Please disregard any background noise, it was SUPER windy today and a lot of extra noise may have been picked up on here.
This is a very informal update to my previous video of the industrials in the garage. This is the current formation I have the four fans in now, a bit different than before, at least for two of them. Right now I have two Banvil/Envirofan Silver Lines and two Airmasters. I'm not set on having the Airmasters where they are, I'd prefer two 36" industrials in their place, but I've gotta find some first. The Envirofans are for sure keepers where they are. Anyways, you see pretty much everything you could want to see here. You can for sure tell they are blowing air because of the dead leaves flying across the floor. ;-)

Just spares I had on hand, I typically use the same ones on any fan I install here unless it uses a 3/4" downrod. The original canopy wouldn't work on the slanted ceiling obviously and the downrods wouldn't work with ball/socket since they have the rubber grommet integrated into the end as you may know.

Yeah, no problem. I've been meaning to do this since I put up the Silver Lines. I put up the Airmasters just yesterday and am so far happy with them, at least for now. I'll go put in an update now.

All your garage industrials are powerful I like your air masters they are cool too. Your Banvil Silverlines are nice fans also. At the Bismarck civic center there are silverlines in a brown color. And it's the same as yours. And they are 56 in.

Wow, it seems that the Banvils have a long spin-down time lol. Just like one of the Hampton Bay Huntington IIIs in my dad's church have a long spin-down time too.

what downrod/canopy is used fir the airmaster at 0:15?

Uhm, I'm not sure. I think I loaded it the day I filmed it, which would be the 1st, but honestly I don't know.

Well, I'm on a Mac so that doesn't really work, but iPhoto says it was the 1st, at least when I imported.

Cole, I have a idea for a swap for the fans in the garage. Take one silver line out and add a gold line. For the back fans, add a canarm industrial and a Hampton bay industrial.

Continued from the conversation comments of your plastic Emersons in garage video: I wonder if you can do an HD remake video of garage Industrials (since you have a better camera that you had for about nearly 2 years), not like the ones shown in this video (since these fans are no longer there), but like the recent ones you put up (the Daytons/Marleys and such). You don't have to do it now (obviously) since you usually focus on other stuff.

Cole, which Banvil industrial fan do you like more, the gold line, the silverline, the orange line or the bronzeline?

Anything with a cast motor, so usually Gold Line.

Yeah. I like the older ones best, but I like the newer ones fine too.

How about you click on "Start" first, and then go to "my documents" then, go to "my videos", and look for the video file (you uploaded) and click on it once so you can see what day it was originally recorded.

Why is the 2 silverlines' motors different from each other? Are the years different?

Different in which regard? Physically, they are identical. If one looks different than the other, it's an illusion of the video. Operationally, the slower one does have slightly stiffer bearings. A failing capacitor isn't out of the question either, but I haven't seen evidence of the greatest quality control on Silver Lines, so they really could just perform a bit differently due to factors out of my control. I believe they're close to the same age, they were installed at the same time for sure.

Is that a 4 speed control or a 3 speed control at 3:22?

3 speed, it has two off positions.

@@vfandm I think I actually had a control like that before as well (which I had for 5 years now), which my dad and I bought at Home Depot to put in my room during that time, but it was in a more lighter color . :)
