Bathroom fans in my uncle's house

There are 3 of them. The square shaped one is a Natilious (sorry if I misspelled it), and the other two are trade winds (which I believe they are from around the mid-to-late 50's or early 60's), and they look pretty cool too. :D
Vids and pics taken on 7/2/14 using the Sony camera.

The only kind that made me nervous in the past, was when it was mounted in the ceiling directly above the shower itself. I know it would take a "laminar" water flow to complete a circuit, but this was when I was younger. It just felt dangerous to have an electrical device behind a grate, right above me in a shower. Though building code probably requires that it be enough feet above the shower that a person couldn't touch it from the shower.

Same, they freak me out. Something about that little motor inside, is terrifying. Even the video is sparking my fight or flight reflex it’s so strange.

The main bathroom fan is mounted on the ceiling instead of the wall. The master bathroom fan almost sounds like a Whirlpool/Kenmore Elite Calypso washing machine increasing the final spin speed. The laundry bathroom fan almost looks like the one in the main bathroom at my Grandma's house.

All you have to do is oil the second Tradewinds fan, and it would run like the first. Whatever you do, DO NOT get rid of them. You'll never find better quality. :-(

the Thermador Trade Winds AF-7 is the coolest bathroom fan they ever made, thats one heck of a house there to have two of them

The Tradewinds fans are great. They look vaguely similar in shape (although flatter) to the old Vent Axia Standards here in the UK

At my grandparent's house in Canada, they have two bath fans in an upstairs bath and one downstairs. They are the same. Did not video them because memory needs to be used for pictures and highway videos in Canada.

I'm not saying they are. They just seem like it with the light fixtures and all the cob webs on the fan. Btw does that fan in the wall work better? They look like nice fans.

Why does the other fan take time to start up?. the caps lock on my keboard doesn't work when writing small letters

Before I answer, you don't need to have all the letters in your comment all capitalized, because otherwise it'll look like your yelling out loud (which can be a little bit annoying), what you need to do, is click on that 3 square-dot button on the right side of your comment, and in the options click "Edit", and then put have the first letter capitalized, and then press "Caps Lock" and there you go.

It probably needs to be cleaned, then oiled. If theres not an obvious oil port, then the oil would go on the motor shaft. WD-40 isn't that great for this, except as a preliminary cleaner (if that) before following up with something like 3-in-1.

As a matter of fact, I'm in their house right now, I'm planning on getting a remake video of these 3 bathroom fans with my Canon Powershot camera. I'm not sure if they have a bottle of oil anywhere, but right now I need to focus on what I've been meaning to do in here.
