We recognize the wheelchair lift, also known as a handicap lift, or standing lift, is critical to providing suitable access and, in the case of residential applications.
The thickness of the platform lift is 4.5 inches therefore a short ramp is added to ease access. However, the lifts can be recessed into the floor, level with the floor. This advantage allows homeowners to drive their vehicles onto or over the lifts, and will allow normal foot traffic without impedance. Recess installation is best considered during new home installation, but concrete cutting can be employed to install in preexisting floors. The current lift maximum is 300 lbs.
