Great video I had the pleasure of meeting Peter at the NEC motor cycle live last week at 76 years old l have been to the Isle of man 16 times and have met most of the racers during my life and without doubt Peter is right at the top of the tree as a racer both at the TT and BSB he always has time for the fans and deserves all the success he has had it even persuaded me to purchase a BMW m1000r well done.

Hicky is the man!! One of the greatest TT riders ever! He still has the record I think 134 mph average! That’s flying if you don’t know this!

Winning certainly has its Privileges, Peter deserves no less! I doubt Winners share of Prize Money would fund 1 Day of operation of this village. Many teams operate a family business to fund racing. But this is Corporate and Commercial all rolled into one. Best of Luck and Fortune to Peter in his racing future!!!

If you haven’t seen his ride in 2017 on the bmw1000rr he does a video where he explains every turn and gear he’s in it pretty crazy!

Bit different to Joey Dunlop he came over on a fishing boat so throwing loads of money at it don't mean thing its the rider that counts think he dropped one in the sea once dried it out and won

Things have moved on a bit since then. When the TT was a grand prix round don't you think teams like Norton, MV Augusta etc were throwing money at it, as you put it? Joey managed what he did because it had declined in status, he would have had zero chance today without major manufacturer backing. Races are won by seconds now, 20-30 years ago they were often won by minutes. I watched Joey race so I can see both sides, the world moves on.

That’s not exactly true at the time he was sponsored by Honda racing and had all the backing. He just wanted to work on his own bikes.

Pretty darn cool THANKS for sharing......question is how long will Gas Monkey and Rawlings survive after leaving TV....Rawlings simply can't help himself ..alcoholic-spendaholic ...LOL.. Would love to see that Triumph 765 RS up close. One-off nothing like it .. BMWs are everywhere.. Miss the SMITHS sponsorship though.. Wish TRIUMPH would build a large bore 'sportbike' 1255cc triple monster.. the bones are there w/ the new 1200RR .. imagine the sound of a Daytona 1255 triple WOT down Sulby straight !!!
