It's disappointing that the salad within The Land pavilion would be so bad, when thematically it deserves to be the BEST salad in all of WDW.

I like how it opened with Charles and Steve posing like they're in a boyband.

Thank you guys!! We actually were there last thursday when we visited Epcot. On a whim, it was the only lunch option open so we booked it and none of us had eaten there before. We weren’t disappointed! I now almost want to make it a point to make it our Epcot lunch spot when we go down there again in September! You guys hit every course of the meal on par. Salad was not good as a mixture (however those greens were fresh), main course was amazing except for the pot roast, and the dessert was fantastic. Character interaction was also a highlight on the trip and quite possibly ever since I have gone down. Pluto and Chip and Dale were hysterical and playful. Farmer Chef Mickey seemed in a bit of a hurry however every time was a disappointment. Pricepoint seemed a little high but it was worth the food and character greeting points.

We were there on the 22nd. My sister loved the salad and it had a lot of other veggies and larger pieces of them. I don’t like dressing of any kind, so I just ate lettuce. Overall we loved the meal and the experience. Our server was Andy T and he was awesome! Great interaction and entertainment.

Liberty Tree Tavern has the same food as here and it is TEN TIMES BETTER than here. Yes, no characters, but it’s TEN TIMES BETTER. I’d choose there than here every time.

Just rewatched this and realized that’s Fiasco sitting with them! He hasn’t been introduced to the show as yet when this was posted! Makes better sense why they were sitting soon close to them.

Fully agree with Pete, we went in April for my sons 7th birthday, couldn’t of chosen a better place for food and Character interaction

besides the food and characters we love the atmosphere when sitting in a booth in the lower level! Overlooking the Living with the land scenes is so cool!

This was our favorite meal at Disney! Wonderfully delicious and fresh veggies.

I think when we go in March, we will have to try this place. Thanks for the comprehensive review!!!

That is one of my favorite character restaurants. We only go for breakfast though. Love the ambience, the barely noticeable rotation, the jungle juice, the typical (but good) Disney breakfast, and seeing the characters multiple times.

My daughter LOVED the mac and cheese with gold fish crackers. She thought that was amazing. HAHA

3 1/2 minutes hating on the salad. 🤣 The salad called and it hates you too.

We eat there last November and had an excellent meal! Different salad if I remember. I’m not a Thanksgiving person but truly enjoyed this meal 👍🏻

Good review guys, always love how detailed everyone is. The salad seems like it really needs updated, but happy the overall opinion of the meal was good! It's hard to go there for lunch or dinner for me because when I'm in Epcot the first thing that comes to mind is the world showcase.... *YUM* but, I will be there for breakfast in March! Ive never been, but I remembered the characters were always good when I went when I was younger, and I'm taking my boyfriend for the first time. My family loved this character meal. The interaction was the best that we have been to. The food was so good! I agree with Pete that this is a 9.

We just ate here on our vacation for dinner on the 16th of January. It was amazing! Saw the characters 3 times in 90 minutes! With that and the food and the amazing dessert, just "Take My Money!"

Surprised you didn't mention the 'ride'. I find the slow turning with the views over the prairies one of the best features of this restaurant. Had Christmas dinner here many years ago and the food was really good. I am from the UK and our server on that occasion came from a town only 70 miles from my home city.

I didn't realize that Steve was so much taller than the rest of the guys. He looks like a little kid in the studio. Someone must have lowered his chair, lol.

Ate here for lunch on Christmas Eve and the menu was the same. It was fresh, delicious and really a good fit if you want 'Christmasy' food at Disney during Christmas. Character interaction was good, I think the characters stopped by 4 times. Children loved it. Atmostphere is also amazing with a view to the ride.

Pete, I... I am shocked. You've said a lot of shocking things that I have laughed at, but I am absolutely schocked and offended. HOW COULD YOU SAY THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GOOD POT ROAST?!?! Pot Roast is the number 1 comfort food. Now, I'll agree: there are plenty of bad pot roasts but there are plenty of great pot roasts. In fact - next time you go to Disneyland, go to Plaza Inn and get their pot roast. It's not my favorite but it is up there as one of my favorites. I can understand that maybe you guys maybe didn't like Garden Grill's pot roast, but there are definitely good pot roasts out there.

It's a pretty good pot roast. I went there in October and absolutely hurt myself on that alone.

I really love this meal. I love that it rotates around Living With the Land, I think the character interactions are better here than any other character meal, and we really love the food. I do agree with the salad though...I skip that every time.

Garden Grill is one of our favorites for the reasons they said (very good food and very good character interaction) - one element they didn't mention is that the restaurant rotates over the Living with the Land ride and my kids always get a kick out of that. We've done breakfast and dinner there and recommend both!

Definitely adding the Garden Grill to our 2020 trip, I will probably book for breakfast because I like the early access to the park...we’ve done akershus and though We loved the princesses, the food was not great. Heading straight to Soarin after! Love watching you guys ❤️❤️❤️

Pete is absolutely spot on. If you are looking for a very good meal with Greta character interactions, go to Garden Grill (and Tusker House). The food is very fresh. Do they not serve the sausage with dinner anymore? The sausage is outstanding. We have recommended it to all who have gone, and they have agreed. You are not sacrificing the quality of the food for character interaction, like Chef Mickey. There is also a beer and wine and mixed drinks list, which is a plus.

We did this as a lunch package for the Candlelight Processional in Dec 2016. It was about the same price with the same food, characters & also later NPH as the narrator. Awesome day!. I did love the food & atmosphere.They did not mention that it rotates over the Living with the Land attraction as well. The outer seating is better.

He makes me so happy, he brightens up the room! Brown gravy what ever that is and stuffing I have nothing to compare that to but it was good for me. 😂 please have Sean take Mac n Steve’s place 🙏🏼. We went in December and really liked it. I thought your review was spot-on. We had the dining plan and thought it was a good value for one table credit. We loved the gold fish in the Mac-n-cheese and I’ve started adding them to the easy Mac at home 😊

Great episode, which is always the case we you go on location. Those are your best shows. One thing you didn't mention was that the restaurant rotates. I think that is an extra plus in this case.

I went here the day after the marathon with my parents. I'm in my 30s and they are in their 60s. The characters tried to just walk by us and I had to stop Dale just to say we wanted a photo. I wouldn't be surprised if the characters/workers recognize you and make sure to spend extra time with you knowing it was part of a review.

My family and I ate there January 21. We were all let down by the quality of food for the price. I chose this restaurant because I thought my special needs 5 year old would get to see the characters a little more than other restaurants, but Pluto didn’t even acknowledge him and Mickey just waved at us. At this time, it was only us and one other family in the restaurant. But our server was great and asked us if we seen everyone. We told him and they did come back to see my son.

It is a HUGE improvement when you guys use the phone as a mic! Great job with the review, I've always wanted to eat here, but looks like you guys enjoyed the breakfast much more (several months that back I think).

I totally agree with the review, I ate here about a week ago (Jan 17 2019) with 2 others and most of the food was quite good, some not so great (especially the salad, just something about it was off, I'm thinking dressing or lack there-of). The pot roast was a bit on the dry side but edible. Character interactions were a lot of fun, my friends that were with got a good laugh out of Pluto sneaking up behind me and scaring me ... he didn't get me just once, but 2 or 3 times over the course of the meal. I was the only person in my group who likes cranberry sauce so I thoroughly enjoyed that, so much better than the canned stuff. I would definitely go back here again in the future.

What a great review! It’s always nice when a place surprises you :). I was wondering what you thought about the spinning...we always avoid Garden Grill because a bunch of us are very motion sensitive, so it would be interesting to hear about that aspect of the restaurant.
