Thank you for the tour of your garden. W0W, your melons are HUGE already and the peppers look gorgeous. Yes, it must be hard working full time and gardening. I do remember the hectic schedule of being a young parent. It is nice to see your daughter enjoying the outdoors. She is a cutie.

I just want to say great videos! I started my first garden ever this year and have no idea what I'm doing lol. I've got a massive amount of cucumbers, tomatoes, and corn and everything else died. Your video's give me hope :). I'm definitely going to need to study more for next year because my broccoli, carrots, peppers, and watermelon died. After watching your pumpkin videos, there's no hope for my pumpkins now lol. But thanks! I look forward to the rest.

Yes I use the jobes organic 2-7-4 Pepper like nitrogen at first just to get them to grow then after a few weeks give them some low nitrogen depending on the manure you use It should be great for the peppers good luck with it

Cool. I am gonna have to try that here soon. I've been clipping off leaves and putting on fungicide. Still not helping. And yesterday, we probably got another inch of rain!! :( I bet the big commercial farmers are loving this.

:( Oh we haven't had that much rain up here in Indiana. You guys must be drowning!! I got my blight from combo of too much rain and not enough sun. Now we looking forward to some hot and sunny weather :). Thanks for the suggestion. I treated my tomatoes this morning.

Id like to try Okra, but where I live on the East Coast of Canada Im not so sure we have the proper climate....Also, I found you randomly on youtube and I appreciate your enthusiasm for gardening.....Im sure Im overwhelming my fellow facebookers with my silly garden shots, but its like an addiction I cannot harness!! May have to start a group too. Keep up the good work...Humbly :)

Hey Thanks ground cherries are like cherry tomatoes but they grow in a husk and you have to wait till they drop the eat them. There really good though
@usc529
@usc529 11 жыл бұрын
Well Hadnt thought to much on eating them I might try and bake some but I just like the way they grow and they bring in a lot and I mean a lot of bee's which is a must for a garden ohhhh and plus you get tons and tons of seeds to plant the next year.

Oh yea study up on certain vegetables and whens the best time to plant them in you area and also I made myself a little chart on every vegetable that I was growing along with the planting dates for summer and fall and I also put in how many times to fertilize and how much so that helps a lot I can look at one chart which tells me everything good luck

Thanks so much for sharing your videos. I think I have finally found someone who enjoys the garden as much as me. The sunflowers are great. Last year I boiled mine in salt water and cayenne pepper flakes, and then roasted them in the oven turned out pretty good. Were the large ones the Mammoth? I have a mix this year but intend to do more next year. Look forward to your next update.

This rain is drowning my plants!! Especially my tomatoes.. I am dealing with early blight on them now. :( My peppers are doing good.. I planted some Bhut Jolokia aka ghost pepper. Never had them before but I better be careful with them. Super hot.

lol yea I talked to one he said half his field of corn in under water lol so yea. I find the best remedy sometimes is just cutting off the leaves if you catch it early.

Love your videos. I look forward to the updates on your garden. I just started this year with a couple of raised garden beds with different bell peppers. I didn't grow them from seed like i intend on doing next year, I got them from home depot. Don't know if they produce real well or not. i planted them about 5 weeks ago when they were about 5inches tall. Now almost all of them are about a foot tall now.I had some blooms on a few of them but nothing came from it.How long does it take to produce?

You should try to under seed peas with the corn they make nitrogen so you dont need to side dress the corn

No squrriels. I dnt have any problems with creatures eating on my fields...can u believe that? I do have a groundhog I watch but he has never bothered anything...only guys I worry about are the pigs and goat when I let them out to graze! I've gta get a fence up for them!!! Hopefully spring. I'm so jealous of ur peppers!!!!! That is one thing I struggle with. I'm hoping this chicken poo with straw will do good for me this year. Do u jst use orgaic fertilizer for them?

@usc529
@usc529 11 жыл бұрын
If you seen blooms It shouldn't be long some blooms may fall off just cause of stress or to much water or whatever the cause may be. Peppers are self pollinators so bee's aren't necessary good luck let me know how they turn out
