I fell in love with the owls that you used in the black and white tree and your mother was so kind in answering my email and arranging my purchase of two of the owls and getting them shipped to me in Arkansas. I could spend hours at your garden center just looking at all the beautiful things. It’s no wonder that you’re so passionate about gardening.

I found your channel after searching "Christmas" in KZfaq a few weeks back and you were showing us your family garden centre Christmas trees. You were such a warm person to watch that I subscribed and then got to see you upload a video of you walking around your garden. Somebody said you "weren't a big fan of red" and that made me want to look at your other videos to understand the inside joke... long story short, your channel became my go to "netflix" 😂 Whenever I had a free moment, I would go back to where I stopped and gradually watched you landscape your current property. I'm absolutely hooked and I love that I took the time to understand what trees fell where and how you altered the space from what it was, that the root cellar is now the chicken coop, how the side yard came about, what the upcoming goals for the property are, ...it's a channel that could be a huge success on tv but I'm so glad that it's right here on KZfaq. I should mention... I'm also another Aussie viewer (with a black thumb 😬 but I try my best 🤦‍♀️), who definitely doesn't live anywhere near a zone 5 equivalent but your family and videos are just so lovely and relaxing! Chain stores are here to stay BUT there is just something magical about a family owned Garden Center...there needs to be more.

I’m headed to Idaho for thanksgiving next week and I’ll be 45 minutes away from here. The thing I’m most looking forward to is hopefully going to this nursery if they’re open Wednesday or Friday!

I used to work at Greenhurst Nursery in Nampa just a short drive from Ontario and I know what you mean about Christmas open house. We decorated for weeks and incorporated so many different themes with the everyday garden stuff and it was a challenge but so fun and the excitement of open house was so electric and magical, I miss working in a place like that. Thank you for the tour it brought back great memories.

What a wonderful atmosphere to grow up in. I love your excitement. I have always loved Christmas. I do not decorate much anymore because the children are grown and I am disabled. I always think it is important that children get to stay predominately in their home on Christmas Day to enjoy their Santa and also they need the space to wind down after such a huge morning. I have one step son and with him having to share with in laws , his mom and us, we have started gathering usually on the 26th to keep their stress down. Thank you for sharing.

Would you sometime have a video of planters/pots that are offered at your parents' garden center and which ones are best for different plantings and locations? I noticed several GORGEOUS ones as you walked around. I only wish I lived closer (kinda), but I 'm afraid l would be broke if I did. Benjamin's excitement with Nana was adorable! Loved it!!!

Laura, I fully understand and love the feeling of being in a garden centre. I have had the good fortune to work in one for a few years.....my favourite job! The tropical warmth was hypnotic. I too could not resist taking something home....I swear that the plants talked to me! Your videos bring me such joy....thank you!

I own a store in Milford PA and I just got done doing the inside,decorating trees and the windows.Hopefully the weather will be good this week to get the outside done.I go home every night decorated in glitter.Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I also love the different varieties of poinsettias & Christmas cactus! You guessed it I picked out my poinsettias & Christmas cactus, they are waiting for their placement when I dive into my Holiday decorating mode!! I love watching you gardening you refined me of me when I was younger. I am 76 and I used to be a master Gardner 5 back surgery and 3knees surgery’s can’t do much. I still love gardening I do have a few orchids your channel have kept me sane thank you. This is one of my miracles. Thank you Lord

Loved watching you point out those beautiful glass ornaments. Brought back memories, when I started working back in the 1960's I started purchasing a pair of these glass bulbs for my mom each year. She is gone now but many of the bulbs have survived the 50 plus years, they are very fragile now and stay in storage since my house is to small for a full size tree. I've managed to find enough in miniature over the years to work into tabletop trees. Most miniature bulbs are plastic but you can find glass ones if you search online and specialty gift shops.

It could be so cool to see you plant up the fountain, in a hydroponic type of way 💚💚💚💚

Laura and Aaron...thank you for the wonderful tour. Suggestion...next year when you go to the Grand Garden Tour on The Island, add some extra time and stop in at Frankenmuth, MI. If you fly out of Detroit it's on your way from The Island to the airport. Visit Bronner's specifically. Largest Christmas store you will ever see. True Christmas overload but one of my favorite stores in the world...really...not an exaggeration... you'll love it. 😊
