There is a moment in this video that I stopped and called my husband over to show. I said to him "And this is why I love Laura!". Your hands were COVERED in dirt on screen as you held a plant tag, and you were so into giving us all sorts of very very helpful info about sedums. Cracked me up! You sound like me when you talk about plants and your garden. Thank you for being so "down to earth" and real, while giving us so much information and inspiration. I've been gardening for 40 years and you still manage to teach this old gardener a lot of new tricks!

Laura I watched you and Aaron on the PVGV panel and although they were all very knowledgeable and very personable your platform success is because of the way you and Aaron are! You don’t upsell and neither of you put yourself out as authorities. You are knowledgeable you are personable and you care about others that is what makes both you and your channel special. Please listen to your gut because it lead you where you are and we all love you both just as you are

I agree. I thought Laura's suggestion about giving garden center employees a deep discount to encourage them to buy and try was spot on. Nothing brings appreciation for your products more than employees who have had success with them and gain knowledge and excitement that is passed on to the customers. If you want better employees, you grow them with the company. I think this concept is so missed by most businesses. Laura gets it, though.

Please don't ever lose your authenticity and integrity, you are a precious family that has rightfully achieved a lot and been successful. You (both) will continue to gain more & more success and opportunities as the years go on and I doubt you will ever compromise on who you are. You are an absolute joy to watch, that I just stumbled upon back in Spring when I wanted to go crazy and hang beautiful hanging baskets everywhere and watching your escapades with all your pot planting gave me so much inspiration and I have continued to go crazy with planting beauty all around my wild property, which is transforming into an amazing joyful sight that I can't wait to step out into every morning. Gardening is truly a gift from God. Bravo to you both & especially on your impending arrival, Ben will be an amazing & protective big brother. Bless you x

@Dells Bells I, too, am a recent follower this year. I have been truly blessed by God in this covid-19 pandemic, in that I was still able to go to the office. More importantly to me, gardening was not affected and plants were available and retailers remained open. I'm able to do this summer what I love and what feeds my soul. I have bountiful blooms, birds, bees, hummingbirds, and praying mantis all around. Your words resonated with me today... May you be blessed. Cindy in Maryland =^..^=

We love evergreens too Laura!!! I’ve mentioned it before but I’m not sure if my comment was seen....but many others agreed that we would all LOVE a dedicated evergreen video, explaining the types , their habits and preferences, and where they’re best grown, along with the structure they provide. Maybe something to do in the fall or winter, or early spring, or You could coincide it with getting more for your gardens. This way we could see the structure better, without the perennials filling in gaps. Please, please, please? We would all love to be able to identify evergreen specimens as easily as you do. I know there are ways to tell pine from spruce, from cypress, etc. We would love a guide! 💚🌲💚🌲💚

I love these type of somewhat “unstructured” videos! Another thing I love is hearing you talk about losing plants. I know thats weird to say and I hate that the plants didn’t survive but it just shows me that i’m normal and am probably a bette gardener than I give myself credit for. I think a lot of times folks in your position tend to shy away from talking about “the real” side of gardening. Yes you are super good at what you do, but knowing that even you lose plants at times just gives me more push to keep at it because even the good guys don’t have 100% success! Now for a question that you have probably answered in the past... do you deal with snakes at all??

Hi Laura! I know you have abandoned the Moon Garden idea, but I just realized back when you were requesting us to list white flowers for you that I missed one that I actually have been growing in my yard for years & love! Though you are no longer going w/ an all white theme (in that on area) I think it is one that you would love too! It's called Snow-In- Summer. It does have little white blooms in May-June, but the real attraction to this plant for me is it's silvery foliage. It only gets a couple of inches tall & is great for tucking in around the front of borders as a ground cover or spilling over rock walls. It is hardy all the way down to a zone 3, & it loves the full sun.

I really like this video, where you didn’t know what you were getting and then you came home and planted it. It is what a lot of us are doing in real life! I love that grass but in Zone 5., 🌼🌻🌸🌻🌼

Our home is many thousand of miles away in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia and I get so much enjoyment watching you in your beautiful garden - so envious!! Loved watching this ‘You Tube’ tonight especially seeing the tags of each plant you planted - not that the nurseries here have them. Thank you Laura. Keep well and safe. Cheers Rose

I was thinking that when she picked up the euphorbia 🥴. I struggle with telling people what to do though. She knows her body and what she can tolerate. Doesn’t mean I don’t worry about her though. She’s the sweetest 🤗

Whenever I’m losing motivation to maintain my gardens, I go buy a new plant! It always gets me excited about gardening and gives me the push to take care of what I already have growing. I loved joining you on your trip to the garden center and then planting new plants in your own gardens!

I don't know about everyone else but it was nice seeing the prices for some of the plants! While I understand that prices can vary by city or country, it allowed me to estimate the cost of a potential project 👍

Next year my 7 sisters and I are headed to Idaho for our 40th annual Sister Slumber weekend. We are making it a week long stay. I really hope we can make it to the garden center. Two of us are big fans. My mom loved to garden, you would have loved her.

I ALWAYS love going with you to your mom and dad's garden center. Today's project was so enjoyable. Just random plantings. 🏵️🌸🌻 U always look so cool and collected even in the ferocious heat. I would be a puddle of goo in one of the flowerbeds if that were me and I have a pixie haircut. Don't see how u stand all that beautiful hair on ur neck, girlfriend, but u do u. Thank u all for all y do to keep us inspired and addicted to ur videos. 😍💞

I was soooo excited to read that you were visiting the Garden Center!! I love these visits! It is a delight to watch what you pick out and where you decide to plant them. If I am able to visit your Eastern Oregon area, I am definitely adding Andrews Garden Center to my list of places to visit. I live in a small town near San Antonio, TX and our nurseries are looking really barren at the moment.

I love videos in the garden center! One day could you show us how you would do the watering in such a big garden center each day? I just wonder about how you get to thousands of plants in time- what tools, how long it takes, how the hoses are spread out, it's all so neat. Thanks for all you do!

You mentioned the heuchera needing extra water if winter is dry, I’m glad you mentioned that because it’s probably why I lost a few things this winter despite it being mild. What other plants need supplemental winter water? Also, those geraniums are amazing!
