Actually, if you moved the bookcase out of that spot you could bring in the other chair, put a round table with a lamp between the two and have a great place to sit and read. I am an Interior Designer and I do space planning, the corner with the sideboard looks spectacular. It is so nice to see how you and your Mom both appreciate real wood furniture and use it in your living space.

It looks gorgeous and very curated. I absolutely love the curtains with the various black accents in that corner. The final result looks very collected and rich with detail. Please do more videos like this, and maybe show how your Mom uses the antiques that she has bought as well. You both have such fabulous decorating sensibilities!!!!

I am probably old enough to be your mom, and have worked so hard that I can’t do a lot anymore. So, be careful, sweetness. You will be amazed what 20-30 years will do. I used to have 5 yards of mulch delivered and spread it all myself, do all of my planting, mowing, everything. Plus my business was hard work. My doc’s logo is “Take care of your earth suit. It’s the only one you have.” Wish I had thought of that years ago. It takes a lot of hard work to have the beautiful place and home that you all have. I am very thankful that you have some help.
