The roses are a crazy coincidence. Years ago I planted 2 of that brands Lady of Shallot roses they did wonderful even in a bad spot but we had some house damage and they didnt make it through the damage and repairmen trampling them. Yesterday i was digging in the area and found the tag so i was going to try and order them online because they were so nice.

You did all that yourself AND run a business AND made videos?! I'm impressed. I'm happy to see more people using anise hyssop. A beautiful plant (my aunt thinks it looks like a weed). I have an area overrun by quackgrass. Once I dig that out I have 3 plants to get in the ground. Today's goal before it gets too hot 🥵 It's a nice screening plant that likes plenty of room. I wish I'd seen your arbor earlier. I still like the ones I bought, but because they're shallow(?) and embellished on one side, I bought a second one to back it up. I'll zip-tie them together. That's a good tip about the rebar. When my wallet quits smoking, I have to order another arbor in the same style to go with the third one still in the box. I want to build a long island bed/berm to plant year-round-interest trees. Then I won't be bothered by the setting sun in my west-facing back yard (☀️ pokes me in the eye 👁️) when I wash evening dishes. Looking forward to part 3 video.

I’m excited for you! A lot of work but that’s half the fun of it if you love gardening! You have planned it out so nicely, which must have taken quite a bit of time and the plant choices are lovely. I am not a jealous person, but I am wanting that arbor and fire pit!!

Excellent! Looking beautiful and can’t wait to see the final job and then two years down the road. Love your plant choices 👍 I think I would just run some sand paper in areas over the pots to add age and then paint over with watered down antique white paint… just don’t give up! I live with loads of clay (par for Alberta) and after researching found I needed gypsum so went to a very reputable garden center and spoke to a horticulturist asking about gypsum and he said to use sand instead, saying the end result would be the same but less expensive. It has worked well. Thanks again for a great informative video, can’t wait for part 3!!
