Fromsoftware DLC is the only DLC out there where my only complaint is to look and go. "That's really cool, so much cool stuff, but man I wish there was more of it." Like only two thrusting shields? And its actually really disappointing to hear Elden Ring will only have one DLC, because its one of the few games where I'd never complain if they keep supporting it, but man they really did hit with one really good DLC.

You have others that read like "smite your foes with ancient lightning or use powers of godlike dragons" and then bestials are just "Big rock go BOOM" and then "Pocket Sand!"... @@user-us9tc5zf1g You don’t have to use colossal weapons with a strength build, it’s just an option. Dex builds are (were) stupid-simple to play, with the best damage type (lightning), very OP for both pve and PvP. Thankfully, dual wield setups got nerfed this patch, so dex is not nearly as shameful to play as before.

@@CreativeUsernameEhI also fear that's gonna be the case. Flashy weapon arts tend to be weaker or very telegraphed than boring looking ones, specially in PvP. There are some with fast startups so I hope their damage is decent as well.

I’m such a salty int build boy rn. They gave faith more new spells, like 5x as many ashes of war, and 5x as many weapons. And then to add insult to injury they heavily nerfed Moonveil and the Glintblade Phalynx ash of war. I’m so jealous of faith people

@@nob7094 radahn swords are int scaling, and they both look like cancer (the lord one for pve, the light one for pvp). We got a big ass flower, a sword that summons 8 very dodgeable needles, a twinblade useless in bossfights cuz you cant charge the WA, and an anvil with the shortest range ever seen. Thank god the impaler spear is there or i would cry.

@@limurtempesto5867 Yeah I realize a flaw in my statement. I’m primary INT with secondary DEX. There is a solid selection of new int weapons but it feels like the majority of them are colossal weapons. I personally don’t like heavy weapons, so when I say there’s very few new int weapons I subconsciously just wasn’t counting all of the giant strength weapons

So fun fact with the strike shields while you’re fighting if you time your attacks at the right time you block and attack methodically witch is insane to learn I’m not good enough to constantly do it but someone will, the duel shields are my favorite weapon!!!! I got my hands on it and that’s the only weapon I like

Try it with bleed and blood tax ash of war if you have a decent arcane level. You can heal yourself up a ton with it.

I entered the DLC on a Banished Knight GS run. I was estatic about finding out the First (and only so far, all Is dex ffs) pure Strength weapon I found hard the same clean moveset. + A projectile AND Dash follow up? Sign me up. It's so good.

Go get the fire knight greatsword and put the flame skewer Ashe of war on it with flame (not fire… flame) infusion for fire stacking. All buffed up with SV and FGMS and the right talismans, it’s L2-r2 Ashe of war combo does 7k damage in literally less than two seconds, buffs your weapon with further fire damage, and just flat out wrecks everything in the game. It’s a colossal sword so it has insane posture damage and the move set is amazing with the fast swings of the godslayer greatsword and the long thrust r2 of zweihander. So far I haven’t used any better weapon.
