The park of the domain of Garenne Lemot, is acquired in 1805, by the sculptor François-Frédéric Lemot (1771-1827), sculptor of Napoleon.
At the edge of the Sèvre, in the heart of the wood of Garenne, he creates a picturesque park of thirteen hectares, dotted with ornamental factories (statues, cave, column, tomb ...) referring to Antiquity, built by the architect Mathurin Crucy.
He has a Tuscan style house and a neoclassical villa.
