In Delhi weather the leaves get burned during summer months but they bounce back during the monsoons. I love this plant and have brought back 3 different varieties from my moms place in kerala. Thank for the tips you have given. Will try my best to keep them alive and healthy.

Hey Ekta. Useful info as usual. Thanks for sharing. I am a beginner gardener inspired from you. One question which constantly hit me , we always hear about going local so same for plant. Grow local plants which are meant to grow and useful for soil here . Not all outsiders plants are good for local soil . The cacti, succulents or Chinese plants we hear, they have traveled from geophysically different location. Country's have laws to avoid carrying plants or even across states for the same reason that it may affect the soil. is it really make sense to grow them here? Are there other local plants that we can grow indoor or outdoor. Obviously not everyone can have banyan or mango tree but are there any other locally preferred plants? I am not against these plants but it just keep bothering me when I hear about it. Recently I was planning to spread beautiful Chinese purple flowers creeps in my backyard but I was told they may not be good for soil and not meant grow here instead go for local plants, tree. Could you touch upon this subject, if possible.

Hello Didi. I brought 3 aglonema plants for my bedroom. I live in Ahmedabad where summer temperature goes upto 48 degrees. So I can't keep these plants outdoor , not even in shade as the air is too dry and hot here. Also if I keep them in bedroom in air-condition, the air will be dry and it won't get much sun light just the room lights. Will they die in bedroom? Is there any way I can keep them healthy?

Hi Ekta. I follow your videos and tips for gardening, and I absolutely love them. However, my plants are having a regular problem these days. I can see white mealy bugs in some of my plants and I simply cannot get rid of them. Every week I spray diluted neem oil mixture but these bugs still come up. I don't have alcohol at home, so I used sanitizer but that also isn't helping. What I should do, please guide.

Flowering plants don’t flower in rainy season because sun is not enough This season is primarily great for leafy plants. Flowering plants will only grow leaves for now
