@@freyaxo I also saw him on Arvia just over 2 months ago. The joke about being on teh show with Susan Boyle but no one remembered him. got a laugh but it must kind of hurt. Found him to be very funny

I saw him live on princess cruises... really funny guy. a lot of his funnier stuff is all improv... one of my favorite comedy acts by far

In this case, Simon Cowell has no idea what he is talking about, clueless and ignorant. That was an absolutely brilliant performance, to peform high notes and everything, it was insanely good.

Simon was manipulating the voters to get them to split the votes between Gareth and Sean so Sean could go through because in Simon's mind Sean was more marketable.

Thanks for uploading these. I thought Gareth was amazing and definitely should've made the final. So talented. I have no idea how he can sing like that with the puppet, barely opening his mouth!

I normally respect Simon because he knows talent when he see's it. But this buzz was ridiculous. Not only did he do a great job, but he also sung well! Put 2 n 2 together, he did a fantastic job, singing with his mouth shut, outstanding..

This was amazing!! Simon doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I sound like a cat being strangled when I sing with my mouth OPEN, so to sing that well with it closed, quality 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️ xxx

new Simon was wrong about garth,just came back from Caribbean cruise,two sensational shows from garth.well done loved the shows bought dvd and went to both show times fab ending to both shows.

My favourite act in that year. The judges said the shows about variety yet they chose a normal singer over him to go through to the finals! I think they were comparing him to Damon Scott who also did a brilliant ventriloquist act

I saw him live at the Leas cliff hall Folkestone just wondering if anyone else did? have they got the video? he was with Brian conley And his puppets he had on stage there were Great! my fave was the Grandpa max please reply :) Gareth your the best!

i have been on a 2 week cruise in carrabiean and they do acts at night and one of the nights gareth olivier was one of the night peformance it was soo funny he was even insulting simon cowel i wish i recored it :)

Gareth Oliver was fantastic, a real talent. The trouble is that the singers will make Simon Cowell more money via the sale of records. The top two who the public voted for should go through, otherwise the public are wasting their money voting. Shame on Simon Cowell.

Even though I knew Simon, I was surprised by his comment. The fact that he SUNG and very well and flawslesly too, made that performance outstanding from your typical puppet act of this kind. Plus I liked the puppet all in all. :D So, I understand Simon's feelings in a way, a puppet isn't the best possible choice for thsi kind of event but it wasn't THAT boring.

I could say that he is better than Shaun Smith, but the judge didn't say that . . . Other singers need to open their mouth but this man can sing without open his mouth, great talent... Keep going Gareth Oliver.

I know. There's been enough of singers in the likes of The X-Factor, we don't need to see another singing act when we've seen millions more. Ventriloquism Isn't the common act that was seen decades ago although there are successful ones like Jeff Dunham and David Strassman who are doing the rounds on the other side of the Atlantic.

Agreed. I like dogs as much as the next person but they're all pretty much the same and not what I think most people would pay two hours to sit and watch. I still can't believe that women with the dogs won several years back when she went head to head with Jamie Raven. The guy was robbed but then that in my opinion is down to the foolish voters but it doesn't detract from the fact that Simon's as well as well as other judges has left something to be desired.
