Have you seen the direct-to-DVD Garfield movie trilogy from 2007-2009? Some people don't like it, but I do. You gotta give it credit for having no product placement, a visual style that's faithful to the comics, and scripts written by Jim Davis.

Here's the thing: They made games for the first 2 movies. While Garfield's Fun Fest: The Game was slightly better than the movie in my opinion, Garfield Gets Real: The Game, is the worst Garfield game period, even the Garfield mobile games had more effort put into them than that.

Bill Murray only took the job because he thought Joel of the Coen brothers was one of the writers on the film, but it was a case of mistaken identity. The Garfield movie writer was Joel Cohen, with an H. He only stayed because he felt bad for getting the late Lorenzo Music fired back in the day as for voice Venkman (probably got paid decently as well).

An extra layer to that (to go into more detail from Josh's comment) is Bill Murray complained about Lorenzo's performance as Venkman because he sounded too much like Garfield, which was part of the reason Lorenzo was fired from the role. But then Murray voiced Garfield because, you know, Bill Murray sounds almost exactly like Lorenzo Music...who was Garfield. It's painfully ironic and points out just how stupid the whole situation was.

Yea. I wasn’t a fan of GoF cause it changed the layout of the first 3 games. I like exploring Hogwarts and finding secrets. It was the best part about it. They screwed up with it changing to a level after level format

I still have another Garfield game on PS2. It's just called "Garfield" and you have to tidy the house before Jon returns after Odie messes everything up. You have to find items and return them to where they're meant to go, I never completed it, it was weird. Garfield runs around with a vacuum. At least it has a better art style than this game.
