You’ll get all the REM sleep you’ll need. You would be pretty much be able to stay awake without feeling a single wink get to you. Who needs a cup of coffee when you recover fully if you slept like a gargoyle?

That’s not even mentioning that them shedding the stone skin every morning is apparently how gargoyles shit. Wake up, take a huge shit, and roar. I would want to wake up like that.

4:55 That's kind of adorable, Lexington wakes up and decides to scratch himself behind the ear like a dog. Also if I was a gargoyle and a Manhattan Clan member, rather than assuming the "typical" resting pose that Goliath and the others take before sunrise, I'd do either a meditative pose with my wings caped or an action pose with my bow drawn and an arrow nocked into said bow (Yes, I actually have an archery set IRL).

@@goliathgar4985 Of course. Whenever I practice my archery, I always wear a finger guard on my right hand (I'm right handed BTW) and an arm guard on my left forearm.

I bet the Summer hours must be very hard on them as daylight last longer. Also, I just realize something....they turn into stone instead of being in-cased in stone. It's a twist on what the old legends say about Gargoyles.

I wonder if Imagineering could make a Goliath Animatronic and pare it with the image projecting tech they use on the Castles and a few other rides to make the affect of him being stone gray, cracks forming, and shattering out of his stone form and do some kind of pose. It could be like the Spider-Man animatronic where it does a show at a certain time…just only at sunset.

Out of curiosity, why did they always pose all scary like when they were sleeping? It’s not like they were trying to blend in with the normal gargoyle statues. They were just posing scary for no reason.

@ChaoticX377 according to the stories of Norte Dame, gargoyles do scary poses to scare away demons, but with the living gargoyles the scary pose to defend the protecert (the place they defend) if any threat comes from outside or inside with criminals

Well most people who weren’t protected but them don’t know that they are alive so posing in a threatening pose could be to protect the castle or whatever there defending since they’re awake during the day
