This was such a brilliant theme for a brilliant show. The music is gothic and ethereal, yet dark & trimuphant. It honestly doesn't even need Keith David's voiceover to be epic.

Stone by day, warriors by night; we were betrayed by the humans we had sworn to protect, frozen in stone by a magic spell for a thousand years. And now, here in Manhattan, the spell is broken, and we live again! We are defenders of the night. WE ARE GARGOYLES!"

This was too badass to a be a children's cartoon.

Disney had to go hard with Gargoyle if they wanted to compete with Batman TAS, The X-men TAS and Spider-Man TAS.

This is no doubt one of the best shows Disney ever aired but is this really a Disney show? At the end of this show on the end credits it said Buena Vista Television and just had the Buena Vista castle logo.
