Yess sis for getting into mtech in IIT by BTech IIT guys they should maintain cgpa above 8 for getting admission into mtech in IITs without sitting for gate exam this was only for IIT btech folks only cool 👍🏻

No only few elite IITs like IITK, IITB take interview that is mostly subjective and oral. IITK also gives coding problem. For oral interview, they generally ask you your fav subject and they ask you from that subject only. Only choose that subject which you are 100% confident about.

No, you can't. You could've got some courses at IISC if you would've done a 4 years BS degree in maths or stats, but in case of IITs it is not applicable. But you can apply for MS in Applied Statistics And Informatics which comes under the Mathematics Department of IITB on clearing the JAM exam. This sub-division (ASI) is quite awesome in terms of placements and research purposes.

@@garimabangar thank you so much didi for replying ... one more doubt plz clarify ....abhi me 12th me hun 2 years I had prepared for jee but it was not upto the mark my coaching was online and I didn't focus properly ... but now I had decided to take drop and prepare for JEE... phir jo bhi engineering ka college milega lena hi padega.... to uske baad unhi 4 years me btech ke sath gate ki preparation bhi ho jayega uske bad shyd IIT me jane ka moka mil jaye aapke jese lifestyle ho :_) sahi rahega na didi yeh ? Or kya clg ke 3rd year me bhi gate de sakte ha ??? Avoid taking a gap year smj nahin aaya kya keh rahe ho aap ?
