Also known as Fast Forward in the menu and finally as Future Frenzy. I simply couldn't wait with this one since it's possibly the biggest gem of this prototype. Where do you even begin? The portal shows Gee Wiz. The level plays the warp room theme, but only starts a little into the level. There's no nitro switch, so you must destroy all the nitros on your own to get the gem. There's no crystal and no bonus gem. There's no time trial. The section from the basement entrance is now a death route, but the platform doesn't work, so I had to download a fixed version to be able to access it (thanks @AntonioO1996 ). Oh, and I think I some enemies look slightly different.

Wow, the enemies are very different. It's hard to tell what you're even looking at with them, so the changes them made for the final game were clearly quite good decisions.

Man all the enemies look quite different not forgetting the level color also I think the reason why change the purple rob-lizard is because it mimics exactly as the lizard from crash 1 ether they don’t want to use a recycle or want to improve it more so they change to fly barrel that protect itself when stopping

Is interesting how for both prototype and final version of this level they planned and end up using an enemy from Crash 1 but more upgraded. Prototype seems to use this Robot-Looking Lizard that resembles to the lizards of Sunset Vista and Lost City. But then in the final version they end up using this spherical robots that summons a laser shield that resembles to the camerabots of the machinery levels in Crash 1.

It's staggering how unfinished this level is! This is the first part where the game really seems like an alpha build - the earlier levels felt more like a beta.

It's fascinating seeing early builds of games, particularly games that were released long ago and are renowned.

Man, this one really is an alpha. It's a surprisingly good alpha version, but you can judge why this buid needs the under consideration sigb.

I kinda wished they kept the robotic frog, another frog like enemy for that level actually really works because the future levels are less wide.

Honestly the enemies in that version are way better: that jumping creep are way better unlike that spinning thing. Plus the UFO are way too menacing and better than the actual one. And i don't forgot the spiky-robot who look so cute It's toobad the producers aren't keep the original version of those enemies cuz they're 10000 times menacing and better
