I know it's seven years later, but, does the current G3X software still permit control of the 245 panel mounted audio panel? Or is it now only for the remote mounted box?

You mentioned ability to use a DVD player, is there documentation in how to hook that up aswell as what displays one might use?

Sure, reference Section 4 of the Installation Manual here for additional details on the interconnects for all of the audio inputs. You could consider wiring it into your Aux audio input as an example. More details here: static.garmin.com/pumac/190-01879-11_07.pdf ^DK

NOT useful at all if you dont have a G3X. I want to see how to do these things on the box itself. This is a 245 demo right? So demo the box.
