This upgrade is worth it. It is a complete drop in, no re-wiring for planes equipped with the Garmin GMA-340. Too many features to list but some are digital sound ( no static) very clear audio, 60 second playback function, bluetooth calling and music / alerts, 3D audio sound, multiple eq settings, usb-a power for charging devices, among the other standard comm options.
