Hope you enjoy this video we put together about my experience with my Garmin Tactix 7 smartwatch. I also talk a little bit about my experience with my previous Fitbit Sense, just to give a quick comparison and highlight what I really love about my new Garmin.
This video is not your typical review video, and my intent was to share with you guys my experience with using this smartwatch every day. :)
If you've been on the fence about purchasing a Garmin smartwatch, then I hope this video may help with your decision, or at least provide you with some entertainment. :)

Epix 2 Pro 51mm for me. Super similar, but with an oled screen.

Sorry for the delayed response! We got a lot going on over here, but I'd be glad to share the watch face I'm using for the Garmin :) I found it on the Connect app, try typing in "Digital For TactixD v2 Beta" in the search box and it should come up!

I purchased the Epix Pro 47mm and the Tactix 7 AMOLED 51mm because I couldn’t decide between the two. I think I’m liking the Tactix better but the wrist tilt is slower to display than the Epix. Noticeably. Anyone else have this issue?

To set the correct times for Sun activity, save a GPS location. Then change watch face, then change back.

Update firmware 13.22 : Garmin has changed the backlight behavior : " The new backlight behavior is the intended result for the v13.22 software update. For example - the backlight will turn on when: - Acquiring GPS to start an outdoor activity or when acquiring GPS to save a location waypoint. - Viewing the Map whether by itself as a feature or within an activity. - Going into the Sunrise & Sunset glance and viewing the Sun position menu on the map." the behavior described above has been introduced by Garmin with update to 13.22, and can NOT be disabled by the user ! The switching on of the lighting in the above mentioned cases is inevitable and can NOT be deactivated by the user. This is also confirmed by Garmin. With this, Garmin has made this actually tactical watch unusable for the military, because there is no option to disable this. I look at the map in the field and give away my position by the light. Life threatening. The problem is discussed in the forum, and Garmin's statement: "This backlight behavior is intentional and we have no plans to change it.

even if you put it in stealth mode? or enable night vision ? still has this issue?
