We need an Edson Alvarez type of player. Someone who can read the game off the ball, and play it simple on the ball. Erik ten Hag didnt use Frenkie De Jong as a ball playing 6, he had other players for that. De Jont was a hybrid 8 box to box, but carrying the ball from the back. His game wasnt defensive first and foremost. He was doing what Eriksen is doing when on. Going deep to collect the ball from the defenders like a deep lying playmaker.

I feel real plan was Casemiro , Bruno and mount in the midfield and slowly ease Maino in place of Casemiro as we saw in pre season lot of matches mount ,mejbri and Maino were playing in the midfield

The people that are slagging off Bruno for giving away possession need to see how KDB has played the last few games. KDB has been TERRIBLE and constantly giving the ball away but he's the best midfielder in the world. Bruno has played better, comparatively, but still gets so much flak from the United fanbase.

I’m with Ricky and the other guy. He has some potential but I dint by into the hype. He’s clumsy on the ball, runs into blind ally’s . Think he’s an above average player, nothing more. Hopefully he can price us wrong and grow into a good player but I dont see it. Kid loses the ball so easily
