Prasar Bharati Archives presents Tribes of India series.
The Garos, who call themselves A·chiks, are the second largest tribe in Meghalaya. Women help with agriculture and property follows the female lineage but men are in charge of it. Cultivation is the main work of the Garo there.

I would like to correct some line, where it says that Women is considered less than men. It's totally wrong incase of Garo Tribe. There is almost 50%-50% equality or more than that for Women.
