​@khurshidkota2521 not really. In specific geographical areas, where no road connectivity is there, no water supply, no electricity and other basic facilities. Based on these factors reservation was given to specific region like Jaunsar region (Dehradun's hill rural area)- they come under ST. Jaunpur (tehri garhwal)- OBC, Rawain(Uttarkashi)- OBC, Bhotiya region( upper Uttarkashi, upper chamoli and upper Pithoragarh, region which shares border with Tibet)- they come under ST. Hence, reservation in UTTARAKHAND is based on geographical factor rather than caste system unlike rest of India cz Mostly natives are forward caste which is more than 95% in Uttarakhand hill region.

@@leadersir jb pta na ho toh books Pani chahiye aur han agr intent hi gnda ho toh fir uska ijaal nhi h jaunsar was a part of sirmur kingdom koi himachal nhi tha tb , sirmur was a hill kingdom today in himachal after Gorkha invasion of kumaona and Garhwal Gorkha moved towards sirmur and Nahan that's when raja of sirmur and Garhwal asked for help from Britishers , after war British were successful in removing Gorkha control and when they asked for their payment from both kings Garhwal gave Dehradun valley and sirmur gave area between tons river and Jamuna river which is called jaunsar and bawar it was and still a timber rich area , then jaunsar was ruled by Britisher for next 100 to 150 years , so ya we share our culture with sirmur and upper Shimla not with himachal first thing as these hill state are known as mahasuvi kingdoms , lastly we didn't migrate from anywhere our families have malgujari paper records as old as 1850 's unlike you assholes whose women and children were getting sold by Gorkha army , so your family was technically a slave for 12 years , lastly after independence sirmur demanded back jaunsar but since it was rich timber land and uncontrolled by any kingdom for more than a century govt took it , jaunsar got tribal status as it kept culture which now is dying but atleast till that time it was kept alive whether polygamy , justice of mahasu , family , different unique festival that time people even didn't use to worship mainstream Hindu gods like today , sacrifices were part of daily life along with economic conditions were very bad as British ruled as per their wish , so tribal status to protect govt interest of timber and people's interest of saving land and culture was awarded tribal status , while areas under kinds in hills were modernising , jaunsar under britishers was in dark , jaunsar you see today is very different than that time you will find videos and recording in national archive watch them first , and in real tribal status have helped jaunsar very much atleast people didn't migrate unlike Garhwal mountains villages are getting turned into ghost villages , no outsider can come and take our land that's the best part if you any problem keepy crying.
