Added tips for anyone who wants a couple levels: (sorry if format is weird, I’m on mobile) 1: You can move 1 instance (“room/ area”) and an amazee dayzee will reset if ran away from. 2: Move 2 instances for a hard respawn of defeated enemies. This applies everywhere in the game, including other enemies and shops like Badge Shops and Charlieton for example. 3: Amazee dayzees have about a 10% chance to spawn. 4: Running from battles with no amazees genuinely is quicker and just saves you time. I wanted “simple” at first. So I would just start, KO all enemies, approach the Steeple, rinse and repeat. This can double or triple time wasted. Running is best bc if no amazees spawn, you only need to quickly pop in and out of 1 instance away to reroll rather than wasting time moving two away. 5: Start from the forest by the pipe. If no amazees spawn in the first instance, run and go to the 2nd part of the forest with 1 dayzee spawn. If still none out of the 3, you can go back to the first forest. This will trigger a reroll of the first instance (bc you went to the 2nd) and by checking again in the first instance, the 2nd resets as well. Another tactic that is more time-consuming but requires less luck and player engagement is to stick yourself in the path of the Bullet Bills from Pirates Grotto. Equip Chill Out and enough attack boosting badges for your basic jump and Goombella's Headbonk to one-shot a Bullet Bill without the action command. From there just hit A intermittently and the grinding is done for you. You gain ~100 star points every hour with this method. What's great is that unlike back in the mid 2000's we have the luxury of smart phones and streaming services to kill time with rather than just sit in front of your TV waiting.

Don’t forget the spell for a chance of double exp

Hey, just gonna correct you on one thing: The Dayzees in the pit give more experience than the ones on Twilight Trail. Significantly. So, after a while, you WILL be forced to go down there anyway

I got two Amazee Dayzee’s on one of the floor 90s in the pit. I was able to beat both, and along with the Elite Wizzard and the Swampire I got 92 star points.

Amazy dayzee's only help till lvl 66. After that your better off hunting bullet bills as they are infinite Edt: i just relized my math was off as the amazy dayzees give ( [70-2]- player lvl) of exp, with a min of 1. So once you reach lvl 67, they will only give 1 exp/kill. Same as bullet bills

If i remember correctly amazy daizees have a 10% chance of spawning and also you have to do some "route/screen changings" to kinda *optimally* lvl up with them.

Also for a consistent 12 points you can battle the last blue piranha plant on your way to Farh Outpost, that trail section right before you reach the section where the cannon is just keep going back and forth between those 2 areas for the blue piranha plant to spawn again and again and it's 12 star points consistently. A bit grindy but I like it.. the amazee dayzee tho is top best tho. 😊

I hit 80 out of 100 in the pit of a hundred trials and was so over leveled I’ve still yet to have a non boss fight where the bump badge didn’t work ;-; (albeit with the caviot that I revisited the pit twice to try and make it to the bottom) my first run to the pit was right after koops’s chapter

I've done the pit 3 times and it was only on my second run i got a decent amount of amazee dayzees been back and forth across twilight trail and haven't run into any since the first time you go through it. I'm level 36 and that's where I'm staying chapter 8 and any enemy that isn't a boss is only worth 1 star point and gloomtail, grodus and bowser only gave 20 each.

There is a way to do a guaranteed 1 Level gain (As the maximum of Star point you can gain is 100). To do that is only possible if you don't have much levels (I suggest between level 7 to 13) between the chapter 3 or 5. Why those chapters ? Because you will need to fight the Green Fuzzies and they only shows up at those places. If you're not too strong, but just enough to one shot them, you can stall a battle until you get 100 Star points. While you fighting a Green Fuzzy you have a chance they summon another Green Fuzzy and they can do that infinitely. Depending of your level it will take more or less time to get 100 Star Points. Careful this tips, only work until you get level 17 and the more level you have the longer it takes to get the garanteed level up. Just do it once or twice and if you really want to get 2 levels in one chapter quickly.

Una vez que las derrotas, desaparecen del mapa y no reaparecen simplemente moviendote a la zona de al lado, sino que tienes que moverte 2 zonas. De este modo, la mejor forma de granjearlas es moverse desde la zona anterior a la primera margarita (llamémoslo zona 1), hasta la zona donde aparecen por primera vez, donde aparecen dos margaritas diferentes (zona 2), luego a la siguiente donde aparece una margarita (zona 3), y despues a la siguiente (zona 4) para que reaparezcan las margaritas de la zona 2, volviendo a la zona 3 en cuanto carge la zona 4. Y entre esas 4 zonas ir y venir (1>2>3>4>3>2>1>2 y repetir). Si ninguna de las margaritas es dorada y, por tanto, no la habéis derrotado, vasta con que cambiéis entre la 2 y la 3 hasta que derroteis a alguna.

Advice: you need to be able to do at least 20 hp of damage, through 1 defense, and potentially tank a 20 hp attack to get kill amazee dayzees. Oh and they almost always run on the first turn. This hard but doable.

The game caps you out at 99 BP, so anything past level 35 isn’t worth it. There’s no stage upgrade after level 30.

Eh the danger strats make the pit better, 1 star point per floor and the potential for multiple Amazy Dayzees in one fight once you reach floor 90+ and they give out more star points than the ones in twilight trail. As long as you can ohko every enemy with multibounce that is.

The way that I’ll be reaching level 99 is by doing the pit and going back up each time that I reach floor 90. And I haven’t completed the pit, ‘cause I’m afraid of the last 10 floors. Why? You’re likely to lose next to all your items, HP and FP by the time you reach floor 90, so I wanna reach level 99 before I do the last 10 floors. I’m level 33, so I still have at least 66 runs of it to do.

So it's still the original strategy lol

They made this game too easy, ngl. I'm not asking a kids game to be dark souls difficult, but they could've added a hero mode type difficulty where veteran players could be really challenged and pushed.

I disagree that the twilight trail is faster. Due to the much higher chance of them spawning in the pit AND the fact that they give far more Star Points, the pit is much faster despite having to spend and fight your way down to floors 80+. I had a very good luck run where I encountered at least 6 amazee dayzies (had multiple dayzees in 2 fights) and leveled up at least 3 times because of it on that run alone.

Pit has more enemies to level off of and at that point if you are only able to get exp from enemies from pit level 90+ you may just wanna start a new game, you are just ruining the fun of the game for yourself or at least I don't see how grinding exp for no reason would be fun as levels up are not actually all that crazy beneficial, yeah getting a good badge setup can be good but this game I at least find can derive more fun by challenging yourself for example, doing the pre hook tail pit challenge
