To be honest, Shadow is immune to bullets in Shadow the Hedgehog. Maybe that is why Shadow is immune to spikes.

4:34 Mighty is basically a little Slower version of Sonic but can block projectiles and spikes just be jumping. Sega was is Mighty so OP

Shadow has spike immunity because he's so edgy that sharp objects recognize him as one of their own.
