This is deep. I watch it over and over. Each time, I learn something. - create a machine/process/business that makes money while you are sleeping. Trading time for a paycheck then get taxed at 40% is no way to wealth. This is where vast majority people are.

money never works for you. There is always somebody who puts in the work at one end. The only way to make the world a better place is to add value in one way or the other. Building a money machine should always be something that adds value to the system as a whole, even if for a long time it only collects money. And where does this new value come from? It is out of the abundance we all have access to if we want to give instead of taking. It's working counterintuitive and therefore so hard to get by everyone. A fully automated world (value from nature/physics/the sun...) combined with everybody serving each other to the best of his/her abilities would be a good start.

- Money is just a measure of wealth - Wealth is abundance - Create and own the engine of wealth - To do this, acquire skills - Learning to code is especially valuable - (I’ll add: learning to WRITE is just as valuable as learning to code) - Not all skills are valued at the same price - Coding and writing are so valuable because of leverage - Stop selling your time - build things that make money while you sleep - Be a creator, not a consumer - True wealth compounds over time Enjoy ✌️

To manage investment risk, consider maintaining a broad diversification of your investments that reflects your personal risk tolerance, time horizon, and the nature of your financial goal. Remember, diversification is an approach to help manage investment risk. It does not eliminate the risk of loss if security prices decline. Because investing can be complicated, consider working with a financial professional to help guide you on your wealth-building journey.

Lessons learned from Garry tan (Stop chasing money -- chase wealth, How to get rich) 1. Chase wealth(what u want ) not money bcoz it is accounting of available economic energy. 2. Wealth is created by craftsman (who can create things). All skills are not valued at the same price(If u can do things that nobody else can do, u will have skills that are literally priceless). Vankatesh rao says that "u either live above the api or below the api". (Eg.- if u r a uber driver & follow it's instructions then u r below the api & if u create and own uber u r above the api. ) Investors look for founders who have skills to build that dream. The best way to look like a good startup is to be a good startup. 3. Be a creator don't be a consumer (Don't just sell your time for money) . The path to wealth is through making others happy. 4. Wealth is what creates more money (buying car is "money" bcoz u can't make more money with that). Think about what people want, the problem and the solution. " The world needs more people who are solving problems. "

I paid a lot of money to make myself feel better...if your house where your heart, mind and soul is not in balance and contempt, the mind looks to create pseudo-creative creations to compensate for the lack of actual creating and building something worthwhile that brings value to humanity. By default, human beings are creators. It's just that we are not asking our God-given inquiring minds the right questions to stimulate our exponential and powerful imagination for product and service development. One has to spend time quietly asking questions like why, where, what, who, and when in order to stimulate our creative capacity. I have a huge respect for investors like you, G. Much love. All praises to the Most High, God is the Greatest..

@@GarryTan I’m not quite there yet, but I’ve been working on my lighting setup, framing, and mic. I’m using an el gato cam link 4k, Sony a6500 with a 55m f1.8 Sony lens, and a 6 light soft box. I think it’s still too bright. I haven’t published this video yet, but I’ve totally dialed in my thumbnail game with my other videos. I love that you put your face on yours, that seems to convert better. Any advice on the product idea or the filming of the video would be awesome! We’ve got 3 big VC backed customers and we’re only a few months in. Thanks so much for all you do! I’ll keep watching, in any case!! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ocx4a9t0qpa3g2Q.html

I came here from Coffeezilla so I could be more educated. I'm in a fortunate position with a start-up company in calibration and instrumentation testing. I'm navigating unknown waters and taking my time instead of chasing dollars. I've started off on a good foot and I'm going to make a small profit into my in second year. I'm in agreement with this as my line of work requires an individual to be well rounded in different disciplines. It's a sacrifice spending weekends reading about industry standards,, watching KZfaq videos on industry practices, and learning about new changes to my existing skill set. So much to take in, but I'm finding value in it for me so one day when there is an opportunity to seek funding for more expense equipment I can be wealth of knowledge and walk the talk on selling myself.

Garry, as an early subscriber I have watched all your videos and I love you so much. When I listen to you word-by-word it's like I'm thoughtfully tasting apples under a wisdom tree. You make me think, you make me see but also feel the love for serving people with a product or service. People with your perspective are rare, and I could feel you'd get a massive following soon (now 70k) and I've said to my friends to watch you because they have so much to learn. Cheers bro

@@roberth7640 it seems like my reply keeps getting deleted! The problem I’m trying to solve is for everyone in this comment section. They all want to talk to Garry but he doesn’t have the right platform to do so. Doing this will strengthen his fan base, so talking to fans is not safe at all. So we’re building a safe way for him to talk to his fans. I started this because I wanted to talk Obama really badly but couldn’t, and that’s my dream. To get Obama on Stan :)

I really like the way you mentioned the cycle of talent, customers and capital. I had an answer to a problem for offline retailers. I had the plan ready, customers were willing to approve it but I didn't have the right people (Talent) and capital to work with. A year later when lockdown happened, people started recognising the idea and built a startup around it. I follow it until today and am happy for 2 things 1) the idea is growing rapidly. Happy to identify an opportunity 2) saved my capital which is very limited in front of the company who started it and saved myself from being crushed. But it taught me alot. I am discovering ideas and will start a business of my own with the saved capital and right people. Thank you for your videos. They are very helpful.

There needs to be a balance between creator and consumer in your own life. In order for you to be successful as a creator, you rely heavily on those consumers. In order to support creators you enjoy, you need to partake in consumption. Creating and consuming are equal forces.
