This video is of my amazing husband Gary Finger. We have been members of NHGMC for over 20 years now. I’m standing on the top riser 4th man in trying my best to watch Gary’s hands. I can listen to him practice for hours at home. I don’t care if he is just doing scales. I stop what I’m doing in my shop and listen. What did I do to be blessed enough to have this man in my life? On July 4th 2022 it will be 30 years. It has gone by in a flash.
A dear friend of ours took this video for Gary and then shared it with me. It got lost in the shuffle of life. I found it last night. I asked Gary for some details he said:
It’s Rachmaninov’s Prelude in B flat major, op 23, no. 2. He first heard it played by Judy Johnson, another student of Richard Cass, as a freshman at NTSU.
