My husband plays the piano and I sing in the choir. We have been attending the UU Church of Manchester for about 20 years now. We have never missed a Christmas Eve Service. UU Manch has always closed the service by singing Silent Night by candle light. This tradition started long before we became members. It’s at this moment that you truly feel the love and warmth of this amazing community. I can’t imagine the holiday without this tradition. With the Covid pandemic this won’t be physically possible but we can experience a virtual representation.
I managed to dig up some amazing pictures taken by our very own Nina Weinstein. She was in school when she took these pictures. Today she owns her own photography business. She has a gift. Find a link to her FaceBook page bellow.
I found the music in a rehearsal recording I did two years ago. This was one minute of music found in a two hour rehearsal and I record a lot of rehearsals.
