Gary Moore - Whiskey In The Jar (From "One Night In Dublin: A Tribute To Phil Lynott")
Available Now: mercury-studios.lnk.to/GaryMo...
On 20 August 2005, on what would have been his 56th birthday, a statue of Phil Lynott was unveiled in Dublin's Grafton Street by his mother. There to witness the event were members of Thin Lizzy from throughout the band's career. Later that evening they joined forces under the leadership of Gary Moore for a concert that paid tribute to Phil Lynott's memory. The core band of Moore, Jethro Tull bass player Jonathan Noyce and Thin Lizzy's one and only drummer Brian Downey were joined by the stellar guitar talents of Brian Robertson, Scott Gorham and Eric Bell for a set of Lizzy and Gary Moore classics.

@@PeteNThat Technique isn't everything :). Nobody could play these solos like Eric Bell does here, it's a special match! Gary Moore knew it, that's why he let Eric Bell do his thing! Dynamic and Tone from Eric Bell is even better the original! 🤘😎🎸 The only thing that are missing, are the man himself, Phil Lynott. Rip Phil Lynott and Gary Moore!

I bought for my son, salutorian in his class, 2002, the GM LES PAUL with the Tiger Maple. It came 'tricked out , the way GM would want it," who like GM, those freaks of nature , that it never occurs to them, NOT TO BE THE BEST ONE CAN BE. So I will bet, that GM, and being GM, in his DNA,is the one who worked harder than his competetion. Scales and chords. non stop, until your mind says- I can play anything with the best of them. When George Harrison asked big names to play "Myguitar gently weeps, " GM gave GH, plenty of room , out of the light. Yet when it was GM's turn, GM cranked it, and seeing the "ok to 'let it go' GM obliged got 'in his face' and did not tone it down. Toward the fireworks Finale, GM gave him the finale like he had never heard before, and GH was reported running down rthe hallway , GARY MOORE IS THE GREATEST!!. For me? IT WAS HIS TONE. A tone that I thought the strato Caster was a whole diffent "bag" lol. With my kids, on special occasions I would try to buy lifetime quality gifts, and "when time honered" I just wanted my kids to understand, if you buy the right quality shoe, it can last forever.
